Watercolor Trio

This 'n' That

Watercolor trio close

I know that you know that I am a big fan of coloring, and if I have to choose between a solid image and an open line image, I pick the open line image every time…but there are a few solid sets I really like.  I love the new Sweet Scoops set, and I really like this set too, it is so pretty and quick, and sometimes you need that.

This was one of the cards the girls did at my Stamp a Stack, I was inspired by a card by Pam D'Urso.

Stamp Set: Watercolor Trio, Thoughts and Prayers

Ink: Basic Black, Regal Rose, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Always Artichoke

Paper: Whisper White, Old Olive

Misc: Black gingham

So after class today, I had to run to the grocery store, and the bank, and Eric had just got home from work so he came with me, and I was being lazy and we stopped to pick up chinese food for supper.

Jeff has been having shoulder blade pain for a week or so, and I told him I would make him an appointment and he was like oh no it will go away.  So tonight at dinner he was complaining about it again, and I said I was going to make him an appointment and he finally agreed.  So as we were talking, I said I should make an appointment for me cause I was having gas issues, tooting now and then when I walk, or laugh, or whatever, and I have no control, and don't even know its coming until it has arrived…Hello!!. So anyway Jeff was asking Eric what was more important his shoulder surgery or my fart pills.  Eric just laughed and kept eating.

So then after I was done, I opened up my fortune cookie and this is what it said, "If there is no wind, there will be no wave", well that had us both laughing so hard rice was coming out of our noses.

So tonight I finally watched The Big Bang Theory, and you all are right, it is funny.  This might have been a good episode to watch cause it showed how the guys met. Now I can hardly wait till next week. Thanks to everyone for telling me what it was about, cause it helped me understand it better. I give it two toots thumbs up!

Tomorrow is going to be fun, I am going to go to see Letters to Juliet with MAMMa and Jen and then we are gonna go to Brio to eat.  Fun stuff!

Have a great Tuesday and thanks so much for stopping in!

Well keep me posted on the shoulder/fart story. Gotta make sure my family is all healthy and stuff. I'm glad you watched the Big Bang Theory – and ya know what… in the grand scheme of things on a scale of one to ten of funniness…last nights show was like maybe a 6 – so they are waay funnier!!!!
It was good though – I never knew what happened to the elevator.
    Luv ya

I can't wait to hear what you think of the movie. I went with friends on Saturday, and it was really good! (We went originally just to hang out together, but the movie storyline was a bonus!) I love a good love story!

Thanks for sharing the card. I've been trying to resist this set, but I think you just pushed me over the edge. I love the simplicity of this one.

Have a great day! I hope you get your toots taken care of!

That card is very elegant and simple. That is my favorite type. This will be one that I will CASE. There have been a lot of times lately that I have needed a sympathy card lately. Thanks for sharing it with us. OK now for the story. I had Pringles coming out my nose which is kind of ridiculous since it is only 10 AM here. I know what you are thinking "Pringles are the breakfast of champions". I agree as long as you throw a little chocolate in there.

The Big Bang Theory is my new favorite sitcom. You picked a great week to get acquainted with the show – it was a real good one yesterday! It had me laughing out loud quite a few times!

Di – I just love how you share stories about yourself, even the slightly embarrassing ones! =) I went to see Letters last weekend. Vanessa Redgrave is amazing, and that very good looking man is her real-life husband. Hope you like the movie. Have fun!

I'm not sure if I can type and laugh this hard at the same time! That fortune cookie was so perfect! Thanks for sharing all your funny family stories with us. And the card is simply gorgeous. I believe I'll be trying one just like it today because I just happen to need a sympathy card. Thanks!

First of all, Di, you are going to have to fight me over that life size picture of Lee. That little crooked smile gets me everytime! GO LEE!
Secondly, I am honored you CASED ME! Your version is much prettier. I am CASing your CASE!

Di…You are so much fun!!! Wish I could meet you in person, but it would be a long visit from Atlanta to AZ. LOL

I love this card and have it on my wishlist. Sympathy cards are so hard to make!!!

Now about Jeff…..If his pain is under is shoulder blade, it could be gallstones so get him checked out PRONTO!!! And since you were talking about your toots, ask him if his stools are pale. LOL Another sign of gallstones. TMI…I know, but his health is important!!! Keep us posted!!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
