Sherbet?

This 'n' That

12 May

or Frozen Yogurt? Which is better? Definitely not Ice Milk, I don't even know if they make that anymore.  I remember making ice cream with snow and vanilla, and heck that tasted better then ice milk.

Today was so much fun, I want to make a point of at least one day a week or two I need to spend a day with a friend.  I love being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and being my own boss, and making my own schedule, so I need to remember that from time to time, and take a break.  So today was a me and MAMMa day,and Melissa met us for lunch.

MAMMa had never been to TJ Maxx and Home Goods, I had talked and talked about it.  I think we spent the first hour in the purse section, and who did we run into?  MAMMa's sister and her grandson.  Small world eh?  I think we ended up being in Home Goods for 3 hours, and we finally got hungry so Melissa met us at Jason's Deli.  MAMMa had never been there before either.  So we visited and ate, and then Melissa had to go back to work, and MAMMa and I hit the shoe store.  I was a good girl today, and spent less then$15.00 combined in the shoe store and the Home Goods store.  I did however almost buy these tall shoes, that made my legs from the knees (getting higher up eh?) down look sexy, but I didnt know where I would ever wear them, so I left them there.

It was a lot of fun, and it was nice getting out of the house and spending it with one of my favorite people.

This is one of the other cards I did at MAMMa's class last week. It is an easel card.

Stamp Set: Sweet Scoops (we used the clear mount set and it was so easy to line up the ice cream on the cones)

Paper: Cottage Wall DSP, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink

Ink: More Mustard, Pretty in Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Certainly Celery

Misc: Rich Razzleberry polka dot ribbon, scallop trim border punch, chunky glitter

We even made a smaller square envelope out of a medium envelope, this was cool and I had not done that before.

Well American Idol – the Top 4, here is my two cents:

I love Jamie Foxx and he was a great mentor, I liked his idea with the tshirts for the contestants or the artist.

Lee was first up, and this was not my favorite song he has ever did but I love him, and those eyes I get lost in.  I want his CD NOW!!

Mike was next, and I did not care for his song, and I am so sick of the wave he does.  I know I am mean.

What the heck was Kara talking about goosebumps give them to Ellen?  I think Ellen gets goosebumps sitting by Kara cause you can tell they are not comfortable with each other.  I think Ellen just tolerates her, I would love to be a fly on the wall while her and Portia have dinner at night after one of these shows. Ha!

Lee and Crystal then did a duet, and it was pretty good, when Lee does his gravely voice I swear my toes curl up all the way to my ankles.

Casey was next and I really liked his song tonight, he changed it up and made it fun, it was nice to hear him play a different instrument.

Then they said Crystal was gonna sing a Caddy Shack song and Jeff was trying to figure it out during the commerical, and actually said the words "google it" to me.  ha!  I did and it was I'm All Right.

So Crystal was last tonight and I loved what she did with the song, it started a little funky, and then she hit it out of the golf course…a little fun cause the song was from Caddy Shack…sorry folks!

Then I did guess the Bryan Adams song that Casey and Mike were gonna sing.  I did not care for their duet, Mike sang way louder then Casey.  But I did love Ellen's comment after the song, that she has loved a woman, we laughed at that.  I think sour puss Kara even laughed.

So I voted for Lee and Crystal, Jeff would not let me vote for Casey he said that would be ridiculous, so if Casey goes home tomorrow, it is my hubby's fault.

Well after a fun filled day, and entertaining evening, I am off to slumber after an hour or so reading my book.  I think I am on chapter 20…since Mandy is keeping tabs on me.

Have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

I finally made one of those easel cards – they are fun and easy.

Jamie Foxx was great as always – I think they could have picked way better songs, but who knows what they get to pick from. I hope Big Mike goes home tonight – I have had enough of him – same all the time. I love Casey playing the mandolin – he needs to do that one from 50 first dates! It will be an interesting show tonight – Bon Jovi is gonna be on!!!! I love Richie Sambora!!!! Oh and the comments about Mrs. Robinson and Kara…GAG ME.
Ellen keeps it fun for sure.
    Luv ya

My son's favorite is Big Mike. He picked him during the first Hollywood week and has stuck by him. He is constantly telling me and my daughter that we should pick just one person not vote for all of them! Lee,Crystal and Casey has been our top three. I like Casey but I love LEE and Crystal. It is going to be a long day…can't wait til tonight!

1st of all – I am not on the missing person list – had a very weird week last week – chat later 'bout that!
2nd of all – LOVE TJMaxx and Home Goods – I can do some damage in those stores!
3rdly – you ALWAYS buy the shoes – you WILL need them, I promise! 🙂
4th – the card is adorable and looks like sherbet to me – yummy and lo-cal!
5th – If Casey goes home it's both our faults bcuz I didn't vote last night – the duets were the only good thing and all the junk about Mrs. Robinson was just over the top – really, we NEED to hear that?!
Top 3 – Lee, Crystal, Mike. Sorry my friend, Casey is just a pretty face…..
    Have you missed me?! 🙂

I love the card. The sprinkles make the ice cream look so yummy I am tempted to get some now. I know it will ruin my dinner so I will wait till afters. I copied and pasted your macaroon recipe into MDS and will be using it for a recipe swap. Woo Hoo, thanks. You have a lot more will power than I do- $15 is all you spent.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
