MAMMa’s Swap

This 'n' That

24 May

Marlene swap close

I told you I would share the shoebox swaps from my downline meeting this weekend, I thought I would start with MAMMa for today.

I love the soft colors she used on this card, and I think the Watercolor Trio is becoming one of my favorite new sets.

Tonight before True Blood started they had like a quick Season Two refresher kind of thing, and the stars talked about what happened last season, and it was so funny to hear them talk with their real voices.  I knew that Bill was English (I think), but it sounds like Jason is from Australia or something cause he has an accent too! I love accents.  Jeff had one when I first met him, being from Illinois, and now I don't hear it anymore.

So here is the full card, it's so gorgeous!

Card by Marlene Salvato (a.k.a. MAMMa)

Marlene swap
Stamp Set: Watercolor Trio

Paper: Pretty In Pink, Sahara Sand, Whisper White

Ink: Pretty in Pink, Sahara Sand

Misc: Scallop Circle, Circle, Finial Press Embossing folder, Large Oval punch, Scallop oval punch, Pink Taffeta, Small tag punch

So the Ugly Truth is on and it is getting to the good part, so I gotta go…I love me some Gerard Butler…hmmm….an accent, what do you know.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in.

Lovin' the card- this is a definite CASE. My monthly town group has as a theme a card with circles and flowers- this fits the bill. I don't get HBO, it would be just another thing I would get addicted to so I don't want it. OK, I wish I could have it for Dexter but nothing else. I hope you had a wonderful weekend and I can't wait till next weekend. We are celebrating my BD with my family on Sat or Sun. Then the weekend after we are celebrating my BD and my stepdaughter's BD and her mother's on Saturday. Then on Sunday I am going to St. Louis to celebrate the anniversary of a group of us girls 30th graduation from nursing school. It is going to be a lot of fun in the next few weeks. Woo Hoo.

    ello love,

TB – The actor playing Jason is from Australia 🙂 Good job you! He was formerly on one of their soap operas for a bit so he has a good fan base. He lives in CA now and he's really intelligent in real life. Hmm, I sound like a stalker.
Have you watched the newest preview? Its approx. 2.03 minutes long and sooo much is put in even though just second’s worth of each item.
    Eric is MINE!

The Ugly Truth – OMG, so did you not love the restaurant scene? Hey, didn't you see this already? I remember discussing it with you previously.

Ok, I just read the previous blog post and see you did catch the season 3 preview, but wait, there's more. (just wanted to say that in honor of the dang infomercials -hate them).

The preview, did you catch the long one or the short ones? The long one is the newest and it's approx 2.03 minutes long. The others are like 30 seconds, 1 minute or something.

SO GOOD; I cannot wait for the 13th!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
