Life is…

This 'n' That

14 May

DSCN1651 copy

 …a matter of moments.

This is such a pretty stamp set, and I was thrilled when I got it for free at Leadership.  I am also excited for it to be one of my stamp set classes.  These are one of my favorite kind of classes to teach.  Everyone comes to class, they get their own set, and they make a few projects.  Let me know if you would ever be interested in a Stamp Set Class kit in the mail. You would get your set, your class packet of cut cardstock and embellishments, instructions, and you would supply your own inks, adhesives, and whatever else is necessary to complete the projects.

When I was at MAMMa's last week I saw this card, it was a little bit different but I got the basic idea from her card, and I thought it was so pretty, I love leaving the flower cluster uncolored cause then it reminds me of Toile fabric. I colored the hummingbird with markers, and cut him out, and popped him on there with a few dimensionals.

Stamp Set: Elements of Style

Paper: Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Old Olive, Real Red, Not Quite Navy

Misc: Old Olive satin ribbon, Scallop Square die, Large oval punch, Scallop oval punch

So I was playing around with some of the new downloads for My Digital Studio, have you updated yours lately?  I updated my blog header. Do you like it?  It is fun to play with.  I am loving the new Designer Series Paper, the flowers are gorgeous. I can see using it a lot to type a letter, and it will be like beautiful stationary. Love it!

Well I just finished watching Private Practice and I won't say anything in case you have not seen it yet, but get some kleenexes.

Have an awesome Friday and thanks for stopping in!

Love your new banner…those are one of many of my favorite colors but I tend to grab them first….

Love the card and how the black out white
brings out the color of the bird and the sentiment…thanks for sharing.

This is a very pretty card. I like the black and white with just a touch of colour.
I want to watch Private Practice right from the beginning – but I am having problems finding the series …

OMG!!!!! That card is TOTALLY beautiful! I love that set, too!(I think I've had to have it since you first started showing it here.) I can't believe how simple (it looks), yet it's SO stunning. As always, thanks for sharing your brilliance! Of course I noticed you changed your blog header, Silly. Yours is the first blog I check each morning! 🙂 Have a fabulous day!

Happy Friday Di. I love this card and think I will case it in my next class. Love the Toile look. So what did you think of Oprah yesterday? I didn't get to finish watching it because a bunch of girls from work brought me dinner and showed up early!!! It was great seeing everyone and the dinner was great. Thought of you though, especially when Edward showed up at different houses knocking on the door. Would you have just died if that happened to you?

OK blog heading- fantastic- I was debating over whether getting that or not- I think you just tipped me in the yes side. I hope that is one of the new DSP we will be getting in July, June for those of us that are demos (ok doesn't that make you want to sign up so you can get things a month early?)

Card- wonderful, elegant, simple!! and I can CASE it for a Black and White card swap I am thinking about joining.

Private Practice- I had read something like that was going to happen just not who. I watch too much TV. Last Grey's Anatomy of the season next Thursday- can't miss it.

I think that about wraps it up from me. Happy Friday and weekend everyone.

    Hi Debbie,

If Edward/Rob had of knocked on my door, I would have died in a puddle of pee.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
