I’m Taking Simply Adorned on the Road

3-D Items

16 May

Diana simply adorned key chain close

A couple weeks or so ago I clipped one of my little Simply Adorned charms on my key ring, and I thought hey that is cute.  So last night as I was procrastinating I thought I want a whole key chain of Simply Adorned.  I had not wore my charm bracelet yet, so I got out my old jewelry tools and a snip here, a pull there, a crank here, and lookee what I made.

I already had a keyring ring thing.  I figured how long I wanted it and then I opened up a link and separated it. Depending on how long you want it you might get three out of it.  Although only one of them will have the fun little Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned charm on it that you can see on the top of the picture.  I took a part a few of my old Stampin' Up! zipper pull things that we could get years ago, and using a jump ring or whatever they are called I attached it to the bottom of the chain. ( I attached two, back to back so you can see the logo from both sides) I finished decorating my last little charm with a little monogram (is it a monogram when you have more then one letter?), anyway, I did crystal effect them shut just in case, since I am using it for what it is not intended for.

Now I am not suggesting you do this with your bracelet as this is not what Stampin' Up! intended I am sure, but as long as you realize if you do and you mess it up, that's it. No returnzees.  If you don't want to use the bracelet chain then certainly you could buy chain and one of those big ringie things for keys, and make your own that way. You just have to make sure the little charm clips fit.

Anyway, I wanted to share what I did. Cause I love it, and how fun to be able to show it off when someone asks about Stampin' Up!

Have a blessed Sunday and thanks for stopping in!

Oh how darling. What's that you say, you will be happy to give it to me. You are just too kind. I will email you my snail mail addy asap. OK, I know that isn't what you said but wouldn't that make the neatest gift to one of your SU friends? You are so inventive.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
