Coffee, Tea…

This 'n' That

5 May

DSCN1623 copy

…or Raspberry Lemonade.  Well actually I think your choices are just Water and Raspberry Lemonade, but either way you are not going to want to miss this fun get together. Oh and a little birdie told me the Raspberry Lemonade is the absolute best.I know my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Ok, Dana if you are reading, feel free to skim these next few paragraphs as I will be talking about American Idol…ha! I told you I was gonna say your name! Big Grin and a Wave!!!

So the Top Five! Wow, what a night, fly me to the moon, and they sang Frank Sinatra song.  That was nice of the Sinatra daughters to give Simon a hankie of Frank's.  I think he was really touched.  He held it all night long, and I hope he wrapped it up after the show to keep it nice.  He could have used it during the show to cover up his hairy cleavage.

I loved Harry Connick Junior and he was such a great mentor and so funny. He looked so handsome too, I love him as an actor and some of his roles he kinda looks "regular" ya know what I mean? But tonight…cah-ute!

Aaron started off the show and at first he sounded nervous or something but it wasnt long and he was singing it and doing old blue eyes proud.

Kara was her normal crapfest of words, I can not stand her, and hope she leaves next season as well as Simon.

Casey, he was all slicked down and I prefer the wild hair as well as the wild singing this was not my favorite performance and I fear he will go home tomorrow. Was that his Mum behind Simon when they were telling him how much they did not like the song, she was shooting daggers out her eyes. Harry said it was hard to hear up on stage and that Casey sang the song perfect two hours before.  Well don't you think that if the sound is bad on stage that they should fix it? I mean it aint like its the first season.

Crystal, she looked beautiful and I love the big Sunflower tattoo on her back. It matched the Ford car she designed.  She can totally sing anything, and I think the judges were hard on her. Kara wants people to get into the songs and when they do she complains they are not being themselves.

Mike, well I hated his stupid hat, but he did sound pretty good, and I am glad he did not pick up Harry.

Lee, ok well you all know I love this guy, and I was clapping when they said if this was the last night he would win, and I agree.  I think he is so amazing.  I loved how Harry was having fun on stage while Lee was singing, and also how he was saying how his wife thinks Lee is cute and he was acting kinda jealous.

I voted for Aaron and Lee, and Jeff voted for Crystal.

After it was over I had Glee on and I really liked tonights music.  Last week I did not know the songs.  One song in particular I loved and have not heard in years was "Run Joey Run", I remember listening to that all the time when I was younger and also the song "Last Kiss". I wonder if they were records of my Mum's?

Well it's late and I am over half way done with my book "Odd Thomas", and it is really good. Have you read it?  It is by Dean Koontz, he is one of my favorite authors.

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Crystal looked fabulous – I am not a big Frank Sinatra fan….so the songs didn't turn me on at all, so I was glad they waited till they got down to 5 people to sing before they picked his songs! Can't imagine sitting through 10 of them.
Run Joey Run and Last Kiss – yes they were records of Mum's. I think I have those songs on my play lists!
    Love the old tunes.
My Boyfriend's Back was a great one too!
    Luv ya

OK so I haven't watched AI this season. However I was babysitting last night and the family was recording so it, so I watched.

Ellen—I love her talk show, didn't love her on AI. She seemed very out of place and didn't appear to have musical critique. Just jokes about the piano. Not sure why she is on there as a judge.

Harry—LOVE him and so glad that the one night I watched he was the mentor. He could croon to me any time, any where. Just sayin…

Crystal–Looked beautiful and I thought she sounded great. Kiara or however you spell her name needed to clean her ears out.

OK….enough of AI. I wanted to thank you for sending me the Mini. I already have two stamp sets picked out that HAVE to come live with me, plus the scalloped circle die. I'm just waiting on my next check.

    Blessings
    Jessica

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
