What a Pretty Garden

This 'n' That

26 Apr

DSCN1580 copy
Today I worked on my on-line order thank you cards.  I did the same card as one I did for Stampin' Up! for the Stampin' Success.

I also worked on my bonus cards for the swap I am hosting.  If I get the girl's cards by a certain date, they get a bonus card.  I did the same one (I didn't take a picture of it), but the bonus one had a button as it will be mailed in a bigger envelope.  The thank you cards don't have the button so that it does not get caught in the machine at the post office.

I used the new Cherry Cobbler cardstock, so everyone getting one will get to see how beautiful that color is.

Stamp Set: Elements of Style, Pocket Silhouettes

Paper: Crumb Cake a.k.a. Kraft, Cherry Cobbler, Shimmery White

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Whisper White

Misc: White Taffeta, My Way punch

I colored with my Aqua Painter and the Ink Pads.

I got some envelopes to address, so I am gonna get off here.

Have an awesome Monday and thanks for stopping in!

Di, these are absolutely gorgeous! I'll be looking for your artwork in the Stampin' Success when I sit down with it this afternoon. All that coloring… oh, my! It must have taken you forever to make so many cards!
I'm curious to know, did you use a Cherry Cobbler inkpad with a blender pen? or straight markers?

Happy Monday Di. Love these cards. I need to use this set today! Since I have been laid up with this foot I have been stampin up a storm especially this weekend. So I am going to go play with this set right now and see what I can come up with. I am loving these new colors!

These are beautiful; kind of victorian garden looking. Did you read the "Secret Garden"? No vampires, but a great book. Thanks for sharing. MJ

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
