Owl Always Love You…

This 'n' That

1 Apr

I love you close
…forever and always.

Even when I asked you to get hangers for me, and you didn't.

I have some card guts from when I went to Leadership and Regionals, I am bad for NOT doing the make n takes, I am a tweaker and a talker, and those two together means, I don't get anything done and I do it at home.  So this was a card packet and I tweaked it, added a layer here and there, some new ribbon, a different stamp set and voila'.

I Love You full
Stamp Set: Whoos Your Valentine, Wood Grain Background

Paper: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Old Olive, Watercolor Paper, Certainly Celery

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Soft Suede, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red, Real Red

Misc: Soft Suede Polka dot grosgrain, Chitchat rubons, Perfect Polka dots impressions folder, Extra large bird punch, Versamarker, white gel pen

The finished card is 6 x 3

I need to update my Etsy store, I have a bunch of cards to add, and this will be one of them.

So American Idol…this might be the last season I watch it. It would be over in half an hour if the judges and Ryan would act their age, and if they cut out the so called "entertainment". Usher sounded horrible, and I am thinking this was not normal for him, cause he was excellent for mentoring the idols, I don't know, and the 3 split screen there was no getting away from the dancing.  It made me miss Michael Jackson cause he could sing and he could dance.  So I say to Usher Oh Oh Oh My Gosh…that sucked!  I don't even the judges were sitting in their seats when the song was over and the camera panned away.

So then Big Mike about pile drives Ryan on the stage, OK someone needs to talk to this guy, he is huge and I am afraid he is gonna hurt someone. This is YOUR space and this is MY space.

Then they had Diddy someone, is this P Diddy the same person from years ago? I stopped watching, the dryer buzzed and the strobe lights almost had me convulsing on the floor. The only thing I thought was cool about Diddy is when that screen closed behind them there was not even a seam showing…wow! So I say to Diddy Hello Good Bye.

And one more word about American Idol…Teflon Tim sticks again.

Well I am gonna hit the hay, I am going with Linda tomorrow to her Grandson's school and they are making Easter cards, so I am gonna go help.  What fun!

Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping in!

LOL.I feel exactly about Idol as you! Every detail…you nailed it. I'll watch it until the end of the season…but it is definitely not that great. Simon also needs to lighten up..and I actually felt sorry for him when Cara made that mean comment…

    Lovely card as always 🙂

Di, I totally agree with your assessment of Idol. They usually do a group song that I enjoy on elimination night, but I guess the 'big name' talent took over. Oh well…cute card, by the way!

OO I like that card shape – very cool and it's cute too!
AI – I agree – the strobe lights were really unnecessary – but they did put a warning up before they came on.
I'm sick of the bullshit between Ryan and Simon – Kara makes me want to vomit – Didi I don't think sounded very good at all….so maybe Tim will get turfed next week.
I want Crystal to win – although I would not be upset if Casey did – but I think Crystal is more natural.
    I really like her.
    Luv ya

Oh I LOVED when BIG Mike picked up Ryan I only wish he actually DID Pile Drive him. He got on my nerves last night Big Time. Drama Drama Drama leave your Tabloid TV over on E! Seacrest!!
Maybe Simon is sabotaging the show since he's leaving anyway. Poor Ellen getting herself into that trio of Drama.

    Hi Di,
I agree with everything you said, This may be the last season for me as well. Very mixed messages the judges are sending the group of singers. Di, maybe you can help me. I would love to have seen the guy who sang Trouble. I could see him go very far in the comoetition. Do you remember his name?
Love your work: thanks for sharing!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
