Glee

This 'n' That

Sweet scoops close

I really need to get the first season of this show and watch it, cause I think this is the second season, I have seen it a few times, and I love that it is on after American Idol cause you are all pumped for the music.  I loved tonights with all the Madonna songs and how the song lyrics work into the story line, and I love how Sue the cheerleader coach is so sarcastic and has some margarine or the like comment about Will the music teacher's hair.

As for American Idol here is my two cents worth on tonight's episode:

Casey:  He did pretty good, I didn't hate it like the judges seemed to, it was a little like we are used to see him doing.  Looks like he got a tan.

Lee: I love him, there it is out in blog-ville, I am so torn between him and Crystal, I think it will come down to these two, and I know that I will buy Lee's CD the first day it comes out, and I hope it comes with a life size poster.

Tim:  He has kinda figured out what to do to continue, with the type of song and the guitar, but tonight he was pitchy and just didn't cut it.

Aaron:  This song was a little bit too big for him, he did get better towards the end, but he just still seems very uncomfortable.

Siobhan: Wow, what was up with the jungle dress with the butterflies, she is like a chameleon, she looks different every week.  I did not care for the song, and I hate that she has to explain herself every week…I just want to say "NEXT" to the screen.

Mike: Can this dude (I can't believe I said dude at my age), anyway can he get any bigger, I am waiting for his shirt to bust open in the back, he's like the Incredible Hulk.  I did not know the song, so it was okay for me. He seems so cocky and now that he got the only save this year, seems like he is even more like that.

Crystal:  This girl brings it every week, and I loved the Mic stand she had, and I feel bad she cried at the end of the song, cause then we cried too, but it was a beautiful song.

I voted for Lee and Crystal.

I am anxious to see what Alicia Keys does tomorrow, and I can also hardly wait for Country and Western night and hope they don't have Taylor Swift mentor them, I am hoping like Reba.

So this is another of the cards I did for the Color Renovation for the Stampin' Success, this one was one of the on-line bonus cards in the Demonstrator side of the website.

OO I like this card! Great colours!
AI – Crystal is gonna win the whole thing – that is my prediction – although I really like Lee as well. Aaron looks like he is gonna cry whenever he is not smiling – almost like that – oh oh I think I am gonna throw up look – Siobhan – why is it that they ONLY let her speak after her performances – they don't listen to anyone else – I don't really care for her and her "leaves"! OO the country night will be good for sure – I doubt they will get Reba, but you never know….I hope not Taylor though – I could handle someone like Jake Owen or Dierks – maybe Alan Jackson – or George Strait would make my toes curl!!
    Luv ya

First of all, your card is absolutely adorable. I don't have that set yet. Now it is on my list, because I HAVE TO MAKE THIS CARD!
Secondly, you are right on the money with your American Idol critique. I love Lee, and Crystal. I like Casey too, but I think it will come down to Lee and Crystal. After she sang, I was reaching for the Kleenex!

    Diana,

Love this card – makes you wish it was summer! Can't wait to order this set – forgot it on my pre-order. Thanks for the Idol recap too -had a downline meeting last night so I didn't get to watch it.

I love this color combo and the way you shaded the icecream and cone. So jealous that you get to play with new colors!

I read your blog everyday and don't leave comments BUT I almost always feel the same way you do about American Idol. I also think that it will be Lee and Crystal and it will be so hard to choose because I think they both deserve it the most.

Cute card, Di! I am excited for the new colors like Marina Mist. It goes well with Tangerine Tango.

Oh, poor Siobhan, she's just an quirky little creature, but I thought she performed quite well last night, although the butterfly thing was a little over the top. I love Crystal, she and Lee and so far above the others in terms of overall talent. Both of them are going to be big someday, I think.

Anyway, I always love reading your take on AI and really appreciate you taking the time to post about it!

I totally agree with the thoughts on Idol – Lee and Crystal was who I voted for too!
And Glee – you need to watch the ones you missed – I'm ready to go back and watch them again.
I turned in my entry for the Artisan Award.
And your card – cute – i love the shading on the cones – is that rock 'n roll or are they sponged?
    Thanks for sharing your creativity!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
