Fun in the Sun

Punches

3 Mar

Ellies Rak Closeup

Well we don't have much sun yet, and I think I might have heard them say more rain might be headed our way this weekend, but this card in my mailbox put a sunny smile on my face.

This is a fun card from my friend Ellie (Waving Hi to both you and Ed!). Thanks for the great card, and it came in handy today when I didn't have anything new finished to post.

Ellies Rak
I love how she used all the different punches to make a cute beach scene.

Paper: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Pixie Pink, Green Galore, Yoyo Yellow

Ink: Creamy Caramel, Ballet Blue, Bashful Blue, Pumpkin Pie

Punches: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" circle, Keytag, 5 petal flower, 1/4" circle, Boho Blossoms

I am guessing on everything, but pretty sure I got it right.

So American Idol, the girls were supposed to sing tonight but Crystal was in the hospital, I sure hope she is ok, and will be back tomorrow, I really like her.

So the guys sang instead, and here is my take for tonight.

Mike: sounded really good, I like this style of music for him, and he looked very classy. I love that he is excited his wife is coming.

John: very pitchy and I didn't know the song.  I think he may go home.

Casey: loved the song he did, and I loved the guitar part of it…he has it all. Loved Simon's comment to Kara, that she didn't like him tonight cause he didn't return her call…ha!

Alex: I really like this guy and so what if he is a little shy, he has a great voice and his shyness is part of his charm. He sounded awesome.

Todrick: he is so cute, I did not care for the arrangement of the song.  The judges drive me nuts though, they tell the singers to change the song, don't sing it like the original, so they change it and they tell them not too.  I know that Todrick does change them a bit too much though.

Jermaine: I did not care for his song, and I know it is not about looks, but his hair makes me scratch my head, the way it is kinda pointy, and I see him maybe going home.

Andrew:  He sounded almost Rod Stewart-ish tonight, he needs to go back to more of the Straight Up stuff, and he needs a bigger jacket, I was waiting for his back to rip out of it like the Incredible Hulk.

Aaron: I love his voice, I was not too particular with his song tonight, I prefer him to sing country.

Tim: He was better then he has been, but I still don't like him, I do however love his fangs!!! I thought Ellen's comment about Glee was perfect.  He is adorable, he needs to act or something. He may go home.

Lee: OMG, he was amazing, I love his voice, and the little tugs on his pants as they were falling down were kinda cute, but I could loan him my crop-a-dile so he can punch another hole in his belt so next week he won't have that problem, cause he is definitely staying.

I did notice that Ellen is sitting in a different seat, and at one
point Kara was flirting and teasing with Ryan and I don't think Ellen
likes that. Ryan is HER friend, not Kara's.

I voted for Casey, Alex, Aaron & Lee…that is the order of their numbers, not my order of preference.  Who did you vote for?

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
