Easter FLICKs

This 'n' That

17 Mar

Flicks feb 2010 closeup

With Spring Fling last weekend, I am a little behind on getting my FLICKs cards done for this month, but today I started on them. They won't all be identical, as the DSP will change, but I think they turned out so cute.

Stamp Set: Chocolate Bunny, A Good Egg

Ink: Chocolate Chip

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip DSP

Misc: Chocolate Epoxy brad, Chocolate Satin Ribbon, Modern Label punch, Word Window Punch

So tonight on American Idol it was the first time the top 12 have sang songs from a certain genre or group and tonight it was the Rolling Stones. Some were good and some…ugh!

Micheal: I didn't care for his arrangement, but he is a great singer, and he is really enjoying himself.

Didi:  I didn't know this song, but I love her voice.

Casey: To me the show started once Casey sang.

Lacey: She sounded very good, but I wish she had of rocked this song, cause she sat down and sang slow last week, she needs to get out of the sameness.

Andrew: This was so-so and I think he needs to kick it up a notch.

Katey: She did pretty good tonight, making the song sound almost country.

Tim: All I kept thinking was I missed Alex, fortunately for me Toby had to go potty so I missed the song, although Jeff said it looked like he had a french manicure.

Siobhan: I am not a fan of hers, but she was awesome, and totally did the Stones proud.  I think she was the best of the women tonight.

Lee: I love him and I think he was the best guy tonight.  I think he looks a little bit like my BFF Tracy's cutie patootie hubby so he tugs at my heart strings a little.

Aaron: He did very good tonight, and the song choice was perfect.

Paige: She did pretty good tonight too.

Crystal: We are all fans of hers in our house, this was not her best performance, but we still love her.

I voted for Lee and Siobhan tonight.  I am gonna vote one boy and one girl for a while.

We almost missed the show, with the time change, our stupid cable box thing is off on the time, in AZ we don't change our clocks, so the receiver is off an hour. Shouldn't it fix and be our time?  I need to call the company cause in this day and age I think it should know the proper time.

Today I had to go to the grocery store to pick up ingredients to make a roast, and I was in the aisle with all the healthy food, and chips and stuff. And the lady stocking the shelves asked if she could help me find something and I said no I was ok, I knew what I was looking for, and then she said "you know this is the nutrition aisle?" and I was like yeah.  Then I was like what kind of remark was that?  So I grabbed my healthy bag of waffle chips, and ate the whole bag for lunch…geesh, some people.

Have a super Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
