Bff closeup copy
So last week after making up these cute bees, I was gonna send my B(ee)FF Tracy a card, we were even talking on the phone and I was like I could make a frame that said (bee punch critter) FF, so that is what I did. I think it turned out pretty cute.  So I mailed it off to Tracy with some other goodies and she got it the other day, so now I can show it, I didn't want her to see it here first.

I got a frame at one of the big box stores, I grabbed a couple different sizes cause I was not sure how big it would be, measuring it before I left would have been too smart, I like to be spontaneous…well somewhat planned spontaneous.

Bff full

I used Summer Sun Textured paper, and ran the Real Red cardstock in the dotted Textured Impressions pad, and I kept it pretty simple other then that.

So onto American Idol, it was the girls night, and my critique gets shorter every week we are down to 8 guys and 8 girls this week, we will find out out Top 12 on Thursday.

Katey: At least she sang a song that was more her age, too me it was too soft, I was waiting for a big blast of signing in the middle of it, and nope it was the same all the way through…boring, plus I didn't know the song and that never helps.  I think she may go home.

Siobhan: OMG where was my speed up button, she does sing good, but it was so stinkin' slow, I think she needed to rock it out.

Lacey: She is so gorgeous, those eyes and just wow, she could totally be a model, but this is a singing contest, and she sounded as good as she looked.  She has a very unique voice.

Katelyn:  I didn't care for this, and I love Carol King.  Randy said she had Carol King hair and I am like isn't that her normal hair? He talked like she did it for the song.  I think she may go home.

Didi: I do really like her and she also has a unique sound, I also love Fleetwood Mac and she did it pretty good.

I wondered if tonight was supposed to be soft songs as everyone seemed to be going that way.

Paige:  I guess I did not know that Charlie Chaplin wrote songs.  I also waited for some big singing in the middle and it didn't come.  She seemed to maybe have a cold and I noticed she stayed far away from the mike…what did I tell ya about germs?  – I hope Paige stays cause she is awesome, I think she just had a bad night.

Crystal: Oh man this girl owns our heart in this household, we tear up just thinking of her raw talent and how true she is to herself and what she believes in.  She is the kind of person that I think if someone told her to do whatever to better her career and she didn't believe in it, she would tell them where to stick it.  At least that is what we think.  I love how she is becoming more confident and not so shy. I would love to see her without the dreds though, not that I don't like em, I would just like to see her hair different, she is getting cuter and cuter, and I think she looks like Julia Stiles, the actress…you can google her…ha!

Lily: Well I usually like her..but tonight…ugh… for one she was NOT clapping when Crystal sang and everyone else was.  Nerves? Jealousy? Hands sore from knitting the hair scrunchies she was wearing as ear rings? Who knows. I did not like her performance either, poor Patsy Cline.

The judges mentioned something about the song not being a WOW for the end of the show. Do the singers know what order they are singing when they pick their songs? Maybe so.

Well if I had of called in time…dagnabit, I got working on stuff and forgot and then when I tried to call, it was past the two hours, it was just busy signals, and the kind that sounds like it is not really going through. I would have voted for Lacey, Didi, and Crystal.

Well I am getting off here for now.

Have a beautiful Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

I didn't get a chance to watch it last night..but the thing with dreds..the only way to get rid of them I think..is to cut them off..but never having them I don't know for sure.
I LOVE Julia Stiles – she is a great little actress I watch the movie Save the Last Dance every time it is on TV…and I own it…and the one she is in with Heath Ledger 10 Things I Hate About You….good movie too. She was in O as well, but she did not fair out too good in that movie..
I'm loving the BFF frame!!!!How fun!
those will be a class "want" for sure!
    Luv ya

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
