Elements of Style

This 'n' That

7 Feb

Diana Elements of Style Tempt Turq small
Equals Beautiful.

When we got this stamp set at Leadership we all screamed and swayed and did some sort of stamp set wave in the crowd, it was so funny.

This is a set that will be in the next catalog or mini, I can't remember, it is so pretty, and has solid stamps as well as, my favorite, open line style.

This is the set I played with last night for my botched mosaic attempt and I wanted to play with it again especially since the beautiful one I colored last night got all covered up.  I also wanted to try it with a different color and I love the Tempting Turquoise.

I had a movie on while I was doing this "Must Love Dogs" . It is so good and I can not believe I have never seen it, cause it has John Cusack in it and I LOVE him, and it is a love story and I love those kind of flicks, I'm a sucker for romance. But somehow while I was coloring I missed how they both ended up with the dogs that they really were kinda borrowing for their first meet up.

Speaking of romance, Jeff and I headed over with My Precious (Precious for short), to Verizon today to have my correct gmail put in the phone and I asked for my same sales guy, and he was as helpful and nice as the other day, so if you are looking to get a new phone and live in the Queen Creek area, ask for Kelly Morris if you go in to the one by the SuperTarget.  I am not getting any kick back, I just want you to get a helpful sales person that did not care that I asked so many questions.  You know sometimes you go places and you can almost see their eyes rolling back in their head with boredom. We grabbed some lunch and bumped into Donna and Connie (hey girls!!).

OK so here is the card:

Diana Elements of Style Tempt Turq
Stamp Set: Elements of Style, Vintage Voque

Paper: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Certainly Celery, Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal

Misc: Finial Press Impressions Folder, White Tafetta, Latte Button, My Way Punch

Well I am gonna get off here, another romance is coming on, this one has Ashton Kutcher and I am a closet Ashton fan.  How bad will it be at 10pm at night to pop some popcorn and watch it?

Have a great Sunday, if you are into football, I hope your team wins.

That's gorgeous. Those colors make me think of a summer beachhouse. 🙂
I think he borrowed the dog from a friend since her ad said that he must love dogs. Her dog was her brother's. Don't quote me on that though. I love that movie too – and John Cusack. Did you ever see Better Off Dead? That's my favorite movie. 🙂

This card is drop dead gorgeous! Love, love what you did with that set – I have yet to mount mine, maybe since we have all this snow, I'll get around to it now!

Love that movie too, one of my all time favs! John Cusack and Diane Lane are great in it. Have you seen Under the Tuscan Sun? Another fave of mine. Diane Lane rocks her role. And her italian hottie isn't bad either. heeheehee

More snow pics on the ol' blog today, at least it's giving me something to post!
    xoxo

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
