Blog Tips

Tutorials/Tips

27 Feb

I guess they are tips..what I have been seeing by a lot of comments are I have not been very good about explaining my blog…

For instance:

Want to see my Studio? – there's an app. for that! OK there isn't but I swear that goes in my head for everything, it's like I'm gonna google it, all these sayings we say now a days…ok let's get serious.

Want to see my Studio? Off to the left is a little photo and it says "Check out my Stamping Studio", when you click on that a bunch of pictures come up.

What to see how to watercolor? That seems to be a frequent request: I do have a tutorial on here listed under the categories, which are on the right side. Here is the link: How to Watercolor – I had been trying to email everyone with the link, but this might be easier.

The Circle Scissor – sorry I don't have that, so I won't be able to show it.  I use my Big Shot dies for the circles I need, and if I need a different size, I just change my design…I'm stubborn like that.

More videos: I will definitely be doing more, but till then, you can see the ones I have done by clicking on the word "Video" under the Categories to the right. Plus if you subscribe to my Youtube channel (there is a place to do that when you are watching the video below) then you won't miss any either.

More tutorials: Again, I will definitely do more, but you can see what I have done by clicking on "Tutorials" under the Categories…I have noticed though when I first started blogging I didn't know what I was doing as much as I do now (which is still not a lot), I forgot to add some of the names of the Tutorials in the Categories list, so I need to go back and find them.

Listing Stamp Sets:  I would love this myself, I did try to add a search widget on here and it would not work, if I start listing the stamp sets in the Categories, I am worried that list will be 5 times as long as it is now.  I emailed Typepad and they are working on something, so I am hoping this will get fixed…but for now, if you click on the Photo to the right that says "My Gallery", you can see the cards in there and the recipes (again old stuff won't be there, cause I was clueless at the beginning).

If anyone has a typepad blog and has any tips or suggestions for ME, I would love to hear them.

One thing I did do today was make a quick tutorial on how to attach the sticker to the new Clear Mount stamps.

Here is what the stamps look like in their cases.

Here is how little a bit of space two stamp sets take if you have clear mount. I still prefer the wood, cause I like to mount once and be done with it.  But a lot of people are ordering this style, so that is awesome.

Well I have a cute card I am working on for tomorrow, cute!

Have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping in!

After reading the tips, I went to look every single category you metioned.
Studio: Wow, how organized you are! I am amazed at your large invertory of EVERYTHING (2 big shot!!!!), but since you have such a successful business, and large base of customers, I guess those are just necessary : )
watercolor: one of my weakest point, but seeing you do it step by step helps so much!
Circle Scissor: my friend let me tried hers one time, and I am not impressed. So, I just do what you do – changed the design (or even shapes) : )
More videos & tutorials, yes, more is better!
Thank you! Have a great weekend!

Thanks for your reply about the watercoloring tutorials. I have seen the tutorials before. I meant to say that I would like to see more watercoloring projects and to video them when you do the watercoloring. Your projects look so in awe and I always enjoy seeing the fine details you put into it. Does that make sense?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
