…I told myself I would be in bed before midnight tonight, so I best get crackin' as my Granny would say…ok so now as I re-read my blog for errors, I re-read my title and am thinking that people might be thinking the wrong kind of thing…the quickie I am talking about is a quick blog post…get yer mind out of the gutter…ha! Cause my hubby reads this at work, and I can see him rolling his eyes and saying "yeah right…quickie my foot" another saying Granny says…the my foot part.
I got all my cards designed today for my upcoming 10/10/20 class, I got all my supplies ordered, and I also figured out dates for my Decor Accents Block class. If you live in Arizona and want to take the class, please let me know, or better yet sign up for my newsletter that tells all about it…or click here which takes you to my SU! website with my calendar. No matter what way you do it, you don't want to miss this class. Seating will be limited.
We also have a Spring Fling coming up March 13th, this is for Demonstrators and guests, make sure you are receiving my email newsletter for updates on this. Mark that date down on your calendar so you don't miss out.
I had to laugh cause Leadership was in Phoenix, not quite my backyard, but close enough. Pam Morgan, she is a Demonstrator and also is the Vice President of Demonstrator Relations with Stampin' Up! and I love her to pieces, even if she has never commented on my blog…ha!! Anyway, she came over and asked me if I had skateboarded in or drove in. I told her actually Jeff dropped us off. I don't do well driving in downtown Phoenix traffic.
So I want to post another card that I sent in for the displays at Leadership, I hope you are not tired of seeing them, especially if you were there, you are probably saying "seen it!"…but those of you that could not go hopefully you can be inspired a bit.
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Misc: Red polka dotted ribbon, finnial press embossing folder, white gel pen
This was the stamp set we all got for going to Leadership, and what I tried to do was copy the little heart that is on the end of the greeting "with all my (heart)" so I stamped the flower image on the one side of the red punched out heart.
Here is the whole set so you can see what I am talking about:
This is a very simple and easy card for valentines, or switch out the colors and make it more elegant for a wedding or something. Perhaps you have the laundry stacked up so you are tripping over it, and clothes in the dryer, dishes in the sink cause the dishwasher needs to be unloaded, and suitcases lying all over the floor from Leadership and you just want to say…Honey with all my heart, I do love you and sorry I am a big bum.
If you would like to place a Stampin' Up! order, please click here. Thanks so much!
Well it is almost 10:30pm, I am doing pretty good on my time. Have a great Thursday and thanks so much for stopping in!
The card is cute. I can't really picture you on a skateboard though!
Luv ya
Jax
That gel pen really adds that "it" factor to the simple things! Great card fellow Canadian eh!
AWESOME job Diana ~ just love your work! Wish I could have been at leadership but it just wasn't in the cards (pardon the pun), hope to meet you at convention. Thanks for sharing 🙂
This card is so cute! The gel pen adds SO much to this card. Thanks for posting your blog on Stampin' Connection.
AWESOME card, Diana! You're so clever to use the flower on the heart – I like that look. Have a fabulous weekend. 🙂
I love this card!! Great job with the heart and it goes the embossed background is so perfectly. That little bit of gel pen makes such a difference and I can never remember to use mine!! Thanks for the reminder.
I'll take a quickie from you any day… a class that is. I so wish I was going to be in AZ the whole winter like my lucky mom. I am def going to have to keep an eye on your class calendar for when I plan my next visits. I love this card. I did a snowflake instead of the heart for a Christmas card at my open house last Sept. I think I will have to do the heart though. It is great.
