While Eric and Mike went to a movie, Jeff and I thought we would go grab a bite to eat. A little impromptu date. We had not been to The Deli since my BFF Tracy was here, and we were having withdrawals. It was delicious as usual, and we even ran into Penny and her hubby Gary there (waving hi!!).
We ran a few errands, or actually I ran them and Jeff snoozed in the truck. He had to work today and was up at like 3am. I am not even human at that time. Ha!
I worked on one of the other techniques we will be doing at class. This is the Faux Metal Tin Ceiling, and it is so fun. I love it with this pretty Easter set that is in the new mini catalog.
Paper: Bashful Blue, Basic Black, Sahara Sand, Watercolor Paper
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Bashful Blue, Summer Sun, More Mustard, Old Olive, Versamark
Misc: Very Vanilla Taffeta, Silver Embossing powder, Finial Press Impressions Folder, 1 1/4" square punch
Isn't it pretty? It even works for my sweet friend Sankari's Titanic challenge too.
Added since original post: I have been getting a bunch of emails with questions on how I did this technique. This is a technique I will be teaching at my class in February. I will be making a video tutorial with instructions on how to do this technique and will post it after the class. I must give the girls attending class the opportunity to learn it first…thanks for understanding.
Here is the video tutorial – enjoy!
OK, I am getting my butt off here and hitting the hay, I want to get up early tomorrow and get lots done.
