…we are getting lots and lots of rain, and we need it, but it does present lots of problems in the desert, it stays warm here so instead of snow like Flagstaff I am sure is getting lots, we get the rain, it would be nice if we got it all through out the year, but then I guess then it would be called Seattle right? They get lots of rain right Sheila? Anyway, my internet went out for most of the late afternoon and still by midnight, you could never talk to anyone when you called, it was always a computer, telling you that they knew there was a problem in my area, it's kinda hard to yell at a computer…I mean you can do it, but it does not get you anywhere does it.
Don't you hate that? Not being able to talk to a human? Even the commercials now a days with the computerized people, what is up with that? Is that so they don't have to pay an actor, cause to me it is creepy and cheap! I saw one just last night and it was a doctor computer guy, yeah like I would go to him…ugh! Even the ones that I think had real people acting them, and then they do something to the picture so they look digital. I guess I am not sure what market they are trying to reach but it ain't me. Give me good old fashioned real people commercials, like the Sonic couple.
They are hilarious and I always want to go to Sonic when I see the commercial. Especially when they talk about them being open late…doesn't a milkshake and fries sound good at night in the car with your hubby?
So since I am late in posting I will stop blabbering and show you one of the cards that the girls will be doing at my 10/10/20 Thank you card class. Oh and send me an email if you would be interested in me starting to offer class or card packets.

Did you know that the "Simply Thanks" stamp you can get for free with a $50.00 order? Yep it's one of the stamps listed on the back page of the SAB brochure, but you have to use the item # 120263. The "Of the Earth" is a Level 1 Hostess set, and that can be yours with an order of $150.00. It's easy to do, you give your friends a jingle, see what they need, add all the orders up and you will be at $150.00 before you know it. Give me a holler if you have any questions.
Haitian Disaster Relief
Stampin′
Up! demonstrators have a long history of making a difference in the
lives of others–especially when disaster strikes and the need is
greatest. So it was not surprising that so many demonstrators have
contacted us in the past week asking what the plan is for helping to
provide relief for those who continue to suffer from the effects of the
earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12.
Here is the plan:
From now until February 28, 2010, $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts
stamp set ordered will be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti
Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established
in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and
long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other
support to help those in need.
Product Name | Item # | Price |
I {Heart} Hearts – clear-mount (block D recommended) | 118571 | $18.95 |
I {Heart} Hearts – wood-mount | 117010 | $26.95 |
How awesome eh? I love that Stampin' Up! always helps when there is a disaster or a need, and I had not ordered this set yet, so when I do, I will be helping as well. If you would like to order this set, please click here. Thank you!
