Kinda the same…

On-Line Ordering

13 Jan

…but not.

So did you watch American Idol?  I think I saw most of it. I was asking Jeff who the dark haired girl was, and he said she was a guest judge and I looked at her more, and I said is she a singer and he said, she is a model, and I said isn't she the chick married to the soccer player? and Jeff said no and then they said Victoria Beckham, and I was like that is so the girl.  But man I thought she was a blond, and boy her arms are like sticks.

So who all think that Kara had a bit of a crush on the Clark Kent angry dude?  I can't believe I used the word dude, but if the shoe fits. I mean she said he needed a spanking and she needed a shower and she felt all weird about him.  I think she liked him, and like a little girl at school who pulls the hair of the boy she likes I think this was what she was doing. He did not have that bad of a voice and I think he would have cleaned up pretty good.  I am wondering if we will see any repeats this year, please don't have it be that Tatiana…I am on my knees begging…oh please, oh please.

I wanted to show you a couple more cards I sent in for displays, they are pretty much the same card, just laid out ever so slightly, different embellishments.

Chew Chew
Stamp Set: Whoo's Your Valentine, Whimsical Words

Paper: Old Olive, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin

Ink: Basic Black

Misc: Watercolor pencils, Playground button, taffeta ribbon, white gel pen

Now this card is basically the same layout as the other one, just a different size for the main image and a darker main card.  I actually used watercolor paper this time, I cut out the presents and stacked more of them together. A little bit of black gingham, I love that stuff, and some faux ribbon a.k.a. skinny pieces of cardstock threaded in the buttons and this turned out cute.

Today I ran some errands, hit the grocery store, UPS, and even ran over to MAMMa's for a quick hug, and to pick up swap cards. I even had to turn on the a/c in the truck on the way home…gee whiz…which reminds me:

Question: What do you call an empty Cheese Whiz container?
Answer: Cheese Whuz

So while my BFF Tracy was here she had me buy some dark eyeshadow and some sparkly stuff too and I must admit I do like it, but I have to keep reminding myself to not rub my eyes, I look down and my finger tips are all brown and sparkly, I am almost afraid to look to see what my face looks like…ha!

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

I taped American Idol – I haven't been a faithful watcher for the last few times it has been on..but I want to see how Ellen does.
Was Tatiana that stupid one in the bikini?
You totally know they get on there for the television factor – like come on…..

I love both of these cards!! They're so cute!! Thanks for sharing them! What a great way to use the Christmas paper, you'd never know they were Christmas papers when used this way.

PS I agree with you about Kara and the angry guy. And Victoria Beckham did look way to skinny especially if the camera adds 10 pounds 🙂

Hi there, I love your cards and I too watched last night but I don't know if she liked him. I kind of got the feeling she despised him…LOL….he could sing pretty good but what an attitude. The skinny girl is Posh Spice from the Spice girls. They told the viewers in the very beginning. She is awfully skinny (wish I had that problem LOL)

I just want to say I love your blog and all your work you are one of the blogs that I look up when my computer goes on. Have a great day.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
