Don’t Tempt Me

This 'n' That

12 Jan

Today I have been playing catch up. It does not take long for things to get behind.  In fact Jeff went back to work today after being on furlough since the beginning of the year through the 11th, and they are totally swamped, to me that seems nuts, but what can you do?

So today I have been doing business stuff,  I woke up with a headache, and nothing makes me madder when that happens.  While I was at Leadership I took a couple excedrin each day and I think it finally said, well now you are home, here it is. So I am thankful that it did stay away till I could let it take it course.

I took a nap this afternoon, and that helped. In fact Ruth (waving hi!) even called me and I never even heard the phone. Now that's being tired. Although I did have my Shupe hoodie on and I had my hoodie up over my head so it was not all bunchy under my neck when I slept, so maybe that was why. Gee doesn't that sound like a great visual, taking a nap with a hoodie on.  Oh well Toby doesn't care, he is just glad his Mummy is home, he loves to snuggle.

I thought I would share another card I did for displays, I need to get designing my 10/10/20 Thank you cards so I can get all my supplies ordered.

DSCN9881 copy
Stamp Set: Peace Within, Vintage Labels

Paper: "Tempt"ing Turquoise, Basic Black, Real Red, Certainly Celery, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Misc: Real Red Polka Dotted Ribbon, Scallop circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, 1" circle punch, white gel pen, big shot, finnial press embossing folder

I do this every time, I forget to write down the recipe, and then I have to look at the picture and figure it out.  I will also go back and update my earlier post where I did not put in the recipe. So check back a few days to see them.

Oh and here is another picture of my BFF Tracy and I.  My sister Jacqui was asking where all the pictures of Tracy were, and I told her, not on my camera, they are on other people's cameras so I need to wait till they email them to me.  So you will see them pop up now and then as I get them. This one is from MAMMa, it is a really good picture, I think. We totally forgot to take a picture of us wearing our I've got the pee giggles t-shirts, but we did look cute…ha!

Look at that dark nail polish Tracy is wearing.  She is slowing coming over to the dark side…ha!  And what is that? silver jewelry? Oh yeah, no more gold for this chickee poo!  She looks great in silver, don't ya think?

Well I am gonna call it a night and sign off here.

Have a great Tuesday, I think American Idol starts tonight, and I am anxious to check it out.  I usually don't watch much of the pre-show stuff cause most of it is pretty crazy.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
