Messages for Mom…

This 'n' That

21 Dec

DSCN0012 copy
…or Mum, depending on where you grew up.  Being Canadian we always say Mum.  I personally like the sound of Mum better then Mom.

It was pretty easy putting the set together, I totally forgot to take a video of me doing it, the trick is to leave the sticker in place on the sheet and put the stamp onto it, and not the other way around. When I order another clear mount, I will show you.  But to be honest, I don't know how many I will order, I still love my wood mount, once it is mounted, it's mounted, plus I don't have a storage problem, and for classes I think wood mounted makes more sense in my brain.

I whipped this up while watching re-runs of True Blood, I can hardly wait till the series comes back on.  I need to look up for when that is. I did see where Sookie and Bill are engaged in real life.I saw a movie today with Canadian Geese and Sookie (Anna Paquin) when she was a kid, she sure looks the same…it was funny to see her younger. I have been reading some things about the new season of True Blood and it looks like they are not going to do the whole Eric and Sookie love story, and that disappoints me.  I hate when they change the book, I hope I am just misreading, and they are just saying that to keep us surprised, but they are already talking about Alcide and it seems too soon for him.  Sorry to blab, if you have not read the books, I should have put a warning…ha!

The card looks great. Fly Away Home, I believe is the movie you are talking about….that is the movie I saw with her in…as well as the X-men shows and well…she just doesn't look like what I thought Sookie would look like…I have only watched a couple of episodes….it's certainly not a family show, so I have to plan my True Blood time very carefully!
Say hi to Mum and Dad Gibbs for me. Hopefully someday I'll get there and you will be blogging about painting or changing the sheets for me!!!!
    Luv ya

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
