Chocolate

This 'n' That

10 Dec

Makes your mouth water just saying the word doesn't it? Whether it's milk, dark, white, not orange…ugh I really don't like those orange chocolate balls.  That is just not right. The other night at Rhonda's my dear friend and upline's Christmas dinner we were gabbing about chocolate.  Dana was talking about a vanilla coffee, and it made me go get one today, and it was delicious!  I said how I love to make toast, butter it and then sprinkle on Nestle Quik, I think that is what it is called, the kind that makes chocolate milk with the bunny on the side, the dry stuff.  It is like chocolate toast and is delicious. Try it and tell me if you like it.  I have some packs of hot cocoa in the cupboard I wonder what that would taste like?  Oh and if you try that, toast up another piece, butter it and sprinkle on brown sugar…another one I love, the brown sugar melts into the butter, my mouth is watering right now, even though I am so full.  Eric and I took Jeff to The Deli for supper.  I even snuck Sarah, our favorite waitress, some candles and she lit them and stuck them in the piece of carrot cake we all shared. Jeff was surprised.

OK back to my post, I got side-tracked.  One of the new stamps coming your way in the Occasions Mini Catalog that starts January 5 is this fun new "Chocolate Bunny", and he looks so real you just wanna eat em, and well…I took a nibble…just a small one.

I didn't chew his ears all the way off, just enough for my sweet tooth.

Wanna see the full card?  Now just so you know the little greeting is one of the personalized stamps I had made last year, I had a few funny off the wall sayings made.  I was trying to do my order online cause I was embarrassed by some of them, (they were not dirty words or anything, just kinda…different) and then for some reason I had to finish my order by calling it in.  The nice Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Support person didn't bat an eye at them, in fact at one point he was like "ya want an exclamation point after that?" ha!!

Sometimes you have that friend that just needs a pick me up, and they have a sense of humor too, and this greeting is great.  Plus it's kinda vampire-ish too.  Ya gotta love that! Ha!

Stamp Set: Chocolate Bunny

Paper: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip Textured, Close to Cocoa

Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft

Misc: Personalized stamp, Chocolate Chip Satin ribbon (also coming soon in January)

I had a couple people email me today about my calendar kits, I still have 5 left.  Shoot me an email before you do the paypal thing to make sure I still have them available.  They make great stocking stuffers for that stamper in your life.

Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping in!

Cute card!!! That's kind of like the little ones I made a while back with one rabbit with the ears bit off and another fully eared Rabbit and the no eared rabbit is saying What???
I'm glad Jeff was surprised for his birthday! As time goes on it is harder and harder to surprise them. I love chocolate Nestle quick on toast – that is the best. I think I might just have to add it to my grocery list this week!!!!!
    Luv ya

Hot cocoa mix (the dry stuff) is also fab-o on vanilla (or chocolate) ice-cream. You can eat it as a topping or work it in and it sort of is like a malt. Learned trick that from a Canadian college roomie many years ago!

Confession time….I read your blog everyday, but don't think I've ever commented until now even though I love your work and the fun glimpses of your life.
The chocolate got me….and then this way cool card just had to be commented on! LOVE it! This is so my sense of humor and you can bet your last chocolate bar that I'll be casing this one!
BTW, if you have a Caribou Coffee nearby, go in this month and check out their new DARK CHOCOLATE drinks – oh yeah!!!!

Di, thanks so much for the laugh today! I love the stamp you had made. I've never thought of just making up a phrase for a personalized stamp! I'd love to hear what else you had made! Great card!!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
