So today I cut paper, a LOT of paper. I still have more to do, but it looks nice to have stacks half done. I am cutting for the Top Note Chum Class, and also my Stamp a Stack too. I also need to design my calendar class, but will do that after I get all my paper ready.
I also am doing display stamping for Leadership and I finished my Artisan challenge for December and got it in the mail today.
I wanted to show the bag that everyone will be making at the Technique Lover's Class this weekend. One of the items they are getting at class is the Vintage Ornaments 1 stencil and the Platinum Shimmer Paint. I got the idea from a frame that Patty Bennett did. The stencils are fun and easy, and NOT just for putting on your wall.
Stencil: Flourish, Vintage Ornaments 1
Ink: Garden Green, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede
Misc: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dotted ribbon, Platinum Shimmer Paint, Sponge Dauber
When I was at MAMMa's last week I saw she had her fingernails all sparkly, she goes to the salon, but I thought hey I wanna do that too. I picked up some glitter polish, and put on a coat or two and it wasn't as sparkly as I wanted and I didn't want to have to put on like 5 coats…so…Stampin' Up! Dazzling Diamonds to the rescue. I just added some to the bottle, gave it a good shake, and wow much better.
I just finished watching the movie Into the Wild, wow what a tear jerker. I did also notice that Kristin Stewart (Bella from Twilight – no one scream or yell at me cause I am a Twilight freak too)…BUT… she was in the movie and she acts the same in every role, she was in the Land of Woman, and same thing. The biting the lip, the facial expressions, it's like Bella all the time, and these movies I think were before Twilight. I would like to see her in something else to see if I just picked movies that this was happening. She's like the Jeff Goldblum in female version. Cause don't you think that every roll Jeff Goldblum does is the same acting over and over? I prefer an actor or actress that can act different all the time. I love Ed Harris, Robert de Niro, Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Jack Nicholson, and there are many more, but when they are in movies, they fit the part, and they make you believe they are that person, and the acting is suited for the role. Well that is just my opinion anyway.
Well me and my glittery nails are hitting the hay.
Have a great Wednesday and thanks so much for stopping in!
I love your nails!!! Your posts always make me smile, and of course I LOVE your projects. I'm doing my Autumn Splendor class today! Thanks for letting me copy you!
Love,
Ronda
Oo those ornaments look nice. I might have to get some of that shimmery paint…although some of it is backordered – :o(
Did you watch that movie, cause I said you should…I can't remember if I suggested it to you or not cause we watched it a couple of weeks ago. Kristen Stewart – she plays in Panic Room with Jodi Foster – not a Bella character at all and she plays in Catch That Kid also not a Bella Character – she is in Adventureland too – I have not seen it though so I can't comment on the Bella aspect!
The nails…..cute!!!!
Luv ya
