Dexter

This 'n' That

21 Nov

What is this show about?  I really need to sit down and look it up.  I will do it this weekend, I have a free Saturday night, how cool is that?  The show is kinda gory and odd, but has me intrigued.

So this morning I went to New Moon, with 8 other crazy gals and it was awesome.  They did it pretty close to the book, taking short cuts here and there, but things that did not hurt the story or anything.  In fact one part when Harry had his heart attack. I loved how the movie handled it, where the book if I am not mistaken just said he had a heart attack, but I don't remember them saying where or how.

One part of the movie was so endearing to me, was when Jacob and Bella come out of the movie theater cause Mike is sick, and they chat and Jacob takes Bella's hand and they hold hands for a few minutes, that was just so sweet and you can tell how much Jacob loves her.

Jasper also had some funny lines.  I just enjoyed it so much, and even one part where Jacob took his shirt off people were screaming in the theater, and a guy in the audience said "calm down" or something like that.  I can hardly wait to go see it again, and again…and again. I wonder how much contacts would cost to make your eyes look like a vamp?

I can not get enough so I am now gonna start to re-read Eclipse before the rest of the stack by my bed.

Since I am getting ready for my class in the morning I will search for a card on my computer to share.

DSCN9539 copy

This is another card from the shoe box swap.   I can not remember who's card it was.

Well that's all for me for tonight folks, I hope you have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping in!

    Hey Doll 🙂
My brother LOVES this show and I have a few other friends who are addicted to it as well. Although Dexter is a killer I have heard great things about it.

I have just recently got the seasons of Dexter to watch – the guys at work all think it is great…..Here is the jist of it…..

During the day, Dexter Morgan is a jovial employee in the Miami Metropolitan Police Department's crime lab, but his meticulously crafted life masks his true nature. In reality Dexter is a disciplined and murderous psychopath (a self-admitted "monster"), and he slakes his blood lust at night by carefully killing the serial killers he tracks down during the day. Based on the novels (Darkly Dreaming Dexter, Dearly Devoted Dexter and Dexter in the Dark) by Jeff Lindsay

    Luv ya

I love your cards; thanks for sharing so generously.

You enjoy the Twilight series, right? Be sure to read the partial draft of Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's website. It's Twilight retold from Edward's perspective–a really good companion piece to the other books.

    Hi Barb,

    Thanks!

I did read the companion in Edwards version and I really wish that Stephanie would finish it, although we know the outcome of everything I loved that now we knew where and what he was doing when he was gone.

Did you go see New Moon?

    Hugs,

    Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
