Curb Your Seinfeld

This 'n' That

23 Nov

So do you watch "Curb Your Enthusiasm"? Tonight is the season finale and they are doing like a spoof kinda thing and doing a new season finale of Seinfeld.  It has been great to see the Seinfeld cast together again, but that Larry David is (as my BFF Tracy says) " a piece of work".

The American Music Awards are on too.  The rest of my Sunday night shows are pre-empted.  I really want to see Adam Lambert, but so far the music I have heard is horrid, and I don't think I can listen to it and wait for him to come on, I wish there was a sensor to tell me when he is on…ha!  I did turn to it and Keith Urban was on, and I do love him, and too funny, I did not notice before, but as they were showing him from the back end, he has bubble butt cheeks…too cute! I wonder if the New Moon cast will be on or any of the music from the sound track?

Today was my second round of Christmas Stamp a Stack, I had 5 girls come from Tucson, they are fun, and it is always great to see them.  You may remember Geri's Fork bow.  She is one of my Tucson girls, and I asked her if she had a new tip, but she couldn't think of one off the top of her head.  She did get a chuckle when I told her that at least once I day I see someone comes from the fork bow mentioned somewhere in blog-dome.

So I did another button card, you may see buttons on a lot of things for a while.  I had to order a bunch of buttons to get enough for my Top Note Chum class, so it might be like the Thanksgiving leftovers…you know what I mean…Turkey Meatloaf, Turkey Sandwiches, Turkey Muffins, Turkey Tacos…etc….

There was a cute card shown in the Stampin' Success last month (this is the Demonstrator magazine we get each month from Stampin' Up!) and the card was made by Karen Giron and I loved how she cut the paper to make the waves of grass, so this is what I did, using the set Trendy Trees and some of my buttons.  Thanks Karen for the great idea, and thanks for my watermarks too.  Mwah!

DSCN9728 copy
Stamp Set: Trendy Trees

Paper: Old Olive, Whisper White, Olive Olive DSP

Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft

Misc: Playground Buttons, Chit Chat Rub-ons

Tip: Cut thin strips of cardstock and use it as thread to "thread" your buttons.  Snip off the paper in the back of the button, and glue dot to card.  No more naked buttons.

Well they just said Adam Lambert will be singing soon, I hope their soon is the same as my soon, and that means soon, and not before midnight…ha! OMG! So Kate Hudson was on there announcing some band and I thought her boobies might come out of her dress, she kept pulling on her top…get the sticky strip!!!

….OK, so this is added after I typed this originally.  Adam Lambert was LAST, the last dang thing they did for the night, and I must say it was…ummmm….interesting to say the least.  Lots of thrusting, ummm…bleeping out words…sexy positions…and one time he even was kissing the piano person…plus at one part he rolled across a platform, and it looked awkward, and noisy…it was just freaky.  I think they said his CD is out tomorrow, so this has me curious as to what kind of music will be on it.  I love the song he does from the movie 2012.  So we will see, but this performance was definitely, not worth me waiting up for, when I probably could be googling it in the morning…ha!  Oh and Taylor Swift, my mouth is still dragging on the floor, all the awards she won tonight.  I thought for sure Micheal Jackson would have got the Entertainer of the Year at least, but she got it.  It just baffles me….back to my regular blog post….

Have a great Monday, I have my last Stamp a Stack in the morning, then I will finish up my calendar class,  oh and I have my 12 days of Christmas specials coming up.  Make sure to not miss those and sign up for my email newsletters, there is a little box to do it over to the left..under the words "Sign up for my Email Newsletter".

Thanks for stopping in!

and the buttons are cute as well.
I didn't watch the AMA…..the first 5 minutes with Janet Jackson and those low crotched pants was enough for me.
But now I am gonna have to google Adam Lambert's display of whatever…just to see it!
    Love ya

That card is adorable too! If you want to offload some of those buttons, I would be willing to buy some of them from you.
So what happened to the kid that actually won American Idol? I haven't heard anything about him anywhere.

More buttons Di! I love what you've been doing with them. PTI and other companies came out with a number of stamps sets recently that coordinated with the use of buttons and I've been hoping SU might as well. Thanks for showing me I don't have to wait for that but can convert some of our standard sets to button-licious goodness. Now if only the bulk buy doesn't sell out!

    Hugs my friend – Jean

PS: Any chance you can get SU to correct your Artisan swap entry. Whoever scanned in your card wasn't looking clearly when they listed the ingredients! Though I'm pretty sure I've seen that card somewhere here on your blog. Gotta look some more!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
