Trilogy Fun

3-D Items

26 Oct

Today MAMMa and I spent the afternoon over at Trilogy at a crop. It was fun, and I got to see a lot of my friends, and met a few new ladies too.  What was nice is they all got to meet MAMMa, some had met her before at the September to Remember event, but some had not.  We worked on stuff, MAMMa did up the Halloween treats for her Granddaughter's class, and I worked on some thank you cards, and also made these two Top Note Chums from Tammy Beaver's blog.  These are so addictive, I have the wheels turning in my head of what else could be done.  I would love to know how many Top Note Dies that Stampin' Up! has sold over the year, I know I have sold tons!

Frankenstein
Here is Frankenstein, I used brushed silver cardstock for his "bolts"

Mummy
Here is Mummy, I should have glued his strips on the other way so I could tuck his eyes "in" but he still turned out cute.

MAMMa and I ran over to Micheals and found some wire, so that can be added to the Top Note boxes if people choose to do that at class.

Well I gotta get off here and finish up my Thank you cards.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping in!

I'm loving all these critters you are coming up with for the top note. A really cool idea for the mummy too (I know Canvas is retired but) is you can stamp the canvas image on the pieces before or after you tear them so they have that material kind of look to them! Kim did that on one page she did one day. I made Frankies on a page this past weekend and the one girl does not have a son she has a daughter so she did not want Frankenstien so she did the face pretty much the same, but then she free-hand cut out a witches hat to put on the top of the top note and then cut some straggly pieces of razzle berry to put on her for hair – it looked adorable. I'll have to see if Tami can send me the picture, cause I (well we our whole family) has been sick we have all been down – so I just took my stuff and dropped it off and the girls covered for me at the scrapbook day. I hated to miss it, but it couldn't be helped. I would not have wanted to go to a class where the teacher was hacking and coughing all over me…so I dropped off my stuff – put two tubes of antibacterial on the front table for everyone to have a squirt and went home!!
I think you should work on a FOX critter with the top note!!!! Dad would get a kick out of that I think!!!
    Luv ya

Hi Diana! I am so glad that you had a good time with us at our crop!! It seemed to me like I looked at the clock and it was nearly noon and then the next minute it was 4:30!! How did that happen?!!!
I agree with Jacqui-a fox would be super cute…! And from there you could easily go to a racoon, dog, cat, oh my, the list is endless!! hugs~

I love your mummy! The others are cute but there is something about him that makes me laugh (maybe his soleful eyes).

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
