So today was a fun fun day, I had some of my favorite peeps over to play, and I ran some errands in the morning to pick up some snacks to tide us over till dinner…stamping can be exhausting, and munchies are required.
So I set up a small snack area to keep up our sugar levels.
Teri got here first with her Yorkie Churro, Toby and Churro had never met yet, so it was fun to watch them get used to each other. I forgot to take a picture of them…dangit! MAMMa got here next, so we visited a bit, until Rhonda and Elizabeth got here. Rhonda hurt her knee on vacation so she was limping around and Elizabeth was her chauffeur.
Here we are with our little Top Note Chums, Rhonda was not sure if she was gonna make it, so her snowman was not finished for the picture.
Here is Rhonda and MAMMa working on theirs.
Here is Teri and Elizabeth punching and stamping.
Here are all the little chums finished, I will show you them individually. I think I want to do this as a class, just let me know if you are interested. We got the idea from Tammy Beaver's blog and we each picked one to be in charge of, and then we cut the supplies for everyone, and then today we got together and made each persons. So much fun, and you just smiled when you were done with each one, they are very addicting. I have to add the wire, but I did not get any for the day (too funny, none of us did).
Here they are up close:
Surprise! I picked the Vampire
Are they not the cutest? So we almost got all the way done, I think most of us (except for Speedy Gonzalez Elizabeth) had one more to do, but we had dinner reservations at The Deli, so we loaded ourselves up in the Nitro and headed out.
Wanna see that? Sure ya do…it's like you spent the day with us right?
Here we are after we ordered our food.
What? Ya wanna see the food? Well sure….
Elizabeth picked the Sliders & a Side Salad
Teri picked the Chicken Salad Sandwich & Potato Salad
Rhonda picked the Roast Beef Sandwich & Pasta Salad
I picked the Rib Eye Steak with Yukon Potatoes and a Corn Chowder
and to finish off the meal (like we needed anymore food)
We all got dessert…
A Sour Cream Upside Down Cake with Apples and Homemade Whipped Cream.
Rhonda even had a special strawberry on her plate.
We named it the Vampire Strawberry, I think it is in honor of New Moon (we already got our tickets bought) Oh and I got the soundtrack, and it is awesome.
After dinner we rolled ourselves out of the restaurant and headed back to my house to finish up our Top Note Chums.
It was a great day, and one I will remember for a long long time. I love hanging out with great friends!
Have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping in!
