So I was checking out my Twitter…Stampin' Up! was posting some fun pics of Halloween costumes, and I noticed my favorite band forever Ryan Shupe and the the Rubberband had posted a new video, and then it reminded me I didn't show you this one…this is my banjo boy Craig Miner (pictured here when they were in Mesa last year) He is so cute…he was at Convention again this year, helping Tonic Solfa sell CD's but he had a girl on his arm, so I was mature and ladylike and ignored him…ha!
Isn't that funny? It looks like he is driving but I am sure he is in the back seat, and he must have a fun computer to do all that. I would love to be a fly on the van wall on one of their road trips…ok maybe just Diana sitting on Craig's lap for one of their road trips…oops, did I say that out loud?
I wanted to show one of the cards that I will be teaching at my next Technique Lover's Class, this is called an Easel card and it is similar to a card that I had on here before, but this one has a special fold, these are so cool and I am totally making more of them.
Stamp Set: Chic Boutique
Paper: Whisper White, Ballet Blue, Gable Green, Apricot Appeal, Pawsitively Prints DSP, Watercolor paper
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Whisper White Craft, Going Gray, Sahara Sand, Ballet Blue, Apricot Appeal, Gable Green
Misc: Satin ribbon, Latte buttons, blender pen, modern label punch, modern label punch window
This is the side view. Neat eh? There are so many ideas rolling around in my head for this style of card.
I better get off here I have to get busy on more class stuff.
Have a great Friday, and thanks for stopping in.
I love your easel card! Gotta figure out how that's done. Your blues and greens are one of my favorite color combinations. I also love that video. Thanks for sharing it! Hard to believe it's all the same person. Chad has a Mac and he sends me pics of himself like that all the time – freaky!
That was too funny! Laughing out loud all by myself!!
Very nice card!
Just wanted to let you know that I saw this band on CMT today and my husband was saying "I've never heard of them, have you" and I had to tell him yes but I had never heard any of their music but you had blogged about them a few days ago! They were very good, thanks for giving me a heads up to listen to them!
