I am so excited! I finally got The Wizard of Oz, they just re-released it, I looked for it a few months ago and it was no where to be found. I have never seen the movie. I have seen snippets here and there, and I think I read the book when I was younger, and I read Wicked not that long ago, but I have never sat down and watched it from start to finish, and now that I read the Wicked book I want to see it even more. So today I met Ellie and Nancy for lunch and we ran a few errands, luckily we had to go into a craft store cause I needed some white shredded paper for one of the projects for my Big Shot this weekend.
One of the other projects they are doing is this one, and I already had the red shredded paper for it. This pattern is from Splitcoast stampers, but I didn't cut the bottom of my bucket like they said to, I just cut it like they said to do the top, I liked it better and it was even, and well the anal person in me smiled.
I got the idea for the Santa bucket from an awesome stamper, Tammy, I changed mine just subtly, I made my ribbon more like suspenders. I used a couple square punches for the belt buckle.
What do you think? Wouldn't you like to get a little giftie* in this little Santa bucket? *little giftie is not included with class…ha!
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Brushed Silver, Basic Black Textured
Ink: Real Red – it is hard to see, I did direct to paper on the red cardstock
Misc: Pillow Box Die. Stampin' Up! backgrounds Texturz plate 1, Real Red Polka dot grosgrain, black brads, silver 5/16" brads, 3/4" square punch, 1 1/4" square punch, round tab punch, sticky strip
Hopefully everyone will have fun making this little bucket, I will show you another project they are doing tomorrow.
Click here if you would like to place a Stampin' Up! order. Remember you only have till October 8 for my blog candy…here is the original post.
Right now, I am gonna go pop my new movie in. Eric got a Wii yesterday, and my arm is killing me…we played bowling (boring) and tennis (much more fun) unfortunately, they both use my right arm…yowza! But I felt like I had a work out.
Have a super Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!
I want to learn how to make that my little great niece and nephew would love that for their stocking stuffers, promise me you will show me how to do it. I will also e mail you my order tomorrow and you and call me for a credit card number, because I leave Friday morning for my class reunion. I am bummed I am missing your class this weekend.
Love ya,
Mary

Hi Marie,
I just got the movie at Walmart.

Oh gosh, the Wizard of Oz is one of my all-time favorites. I read Wicked, but it wasn't until I saw the broadway show that it totally changed what I see in the movie now. I am so pro-Wicked Witch now! Enjoy the movie.
Yes, I felt bad for the wicked witch in the OZ movie, after knowing her "back story" I have not seen the play, but hope to someday!
Hugs,
Di
oh how cute!!!
Love the Santa Bucket, stunning! I had seen the tutorial for the pumpkin… thanks for putting the two together (and to Tammy too). Can't wait to try it now!
