Gag

This 'n' That

28 Oct

So I have sensitive teeth and use a toothpaste that helps. Well recently they came out with a new kind in a fancy can and it is a foaming gel.  Well I'm game for something new so I bought it and have been using it.

Well let me tell ya…you know how when you use shaving gel and you put a small amount on your hand and rub it a bit and it gets bigger and bigger? How about when you go to the dentist and they have to make a pattern of your teeth so they put a bunch of cement in a mouth guard and squish it in there…then after they leave the stuff starts creeping out the back and getting into the back of your throat?  Well that is what this is like.

No matter how small a bit I squish on my brush and let me tell you it is kinda hard to squish just a little bit on there, I start to brush and it gets bigger and bigger, I have to basically brush my teeth with my face into the sink with my mouth open so the stuff can fall out, other wise it is going down my throat.  Now I read the can and it says " penetrates hard-to-reach areas"…well I don't think I really need to brush my esophagus do I?  I don't know…anyway, I will keep using it up, cause I am also frugal and will not be throwing it out, but I am gonna go back to their regular toothpaste after this is gone.

I wanted to share one of the cards from my Christmas Stamp a Stack, I got the idea from one of my friends Monica Lerma.  Somehow it looks blurry, but it is not, I am not sure if it is cause I put the Bride DSP in the background to take the picture or what?  Anyway…class attendees will be making 15 cards.  They will have 5 different cards to do and then make 3 of each one.

Ink: Jetblack Stazon

Misc: Grosgrain white, lace eyelet border punch, 1 1/4" circle punch

I have been jotting down notes at my desk and you all have to help remind me too.  November 3rd… "V" starts, and November 11, the CMA awards are on. Also sometime in November the movie "The Hangover" will be out to buy, and I am getting that the first day, and I am going to watch it with Jeff so I can see him laugh till he cries, (he has not seen it) I love watching and listening to Jeff laugh and this movie is hilarious…in so many wrong ways, but still it is funny!

Oh and who says I don't exercise?  I did 4 jumping jacks, 3 squats and 2 lunges this morning just so I could get my jeans on…ha! or maybe I should be saying boo!hoo!

Well that's it for me, have an awesome Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

that is a pretty card. It does look a little blurry though like you said – not too blurry that we can't see how pretty it is though.
you'll have to record Jeff laughing at the Hangover movie. – it's tooooo funny!
    Luv ya

Omgosh! This was too funny. I guess I could say I exercise also….because without those jumping jacks and squats I wouldn't get my pants on either…and I use elastic waist pants LOL!

What a beautiful card and a perfect demo card, thanks for the inspiration!
I also suffer from sensitive teeth and let me tell you, I can't have them put that cement-y stuff in my mouth for tooth impressions, makes me gag just thinking about it! 🙂 Thanks for the info on this product, I probably would have given it a try too but will now (thanfully) be spared the experience!! 🙂

Thank you. I've had a crappy day, and was just reading your blog before I shut the work computer off for the night, and I laughed out-loud. I can just picture the tooth paste just ozzing everywhere.

That too would make me gag (i am just thinking about it).

    Have a good day

I use that toothpaste! My husband can't, actually I tell him NOT to because he gags….and honestly, when he gags the whole damned neighborhood can hear it. lol

I do like the way it makes my teeth feel afterwards though.

Have a great day sweet girl! ;o)

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
