Color Challenge #8 – Christmas Classics

This 'n' That

12 Oct

This week's color challenge is a nice bright combo.  These colors make me think of summer, but I wanted to put a Christmas spin on it.

This week's color challenge is:

30549514b

Here's my card, and it is a standard size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4):

DSCN9406 copy

Not your average Christmas card is it?  But still pretty I think!

Stamp Set: Christmas Classics, Many Merry Messages, Tree Trimmings

Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Real Red, Apricot Appeal, Green Galore, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black

Misc: Petals a Plenty Embossing Folder, White Taffeta, White gel pen, Versamarker, Dimensionals

If you want to place a Stampin' Up! order, click here….Thank You!

Wanna play along with this week's color challenge?  You have until Sunday October 18th at noon AZ time to do the
challenge, upload a card to your blog,  Paper Craft Planet, or
Splitcoast stampers, and link it in your comment here on this post.   I
will enter all the names into a hat and pick a winner for this
card.

So I have a new favorite show for Sunday night, another reason to keep HBO (note to self – call Direct TV today). I am so enjoying "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency", it is such a fun show and I love their accents, I love how they say happy cause it comes out heppy, baby is like bebby, Daddy is Deddy..cute!  They have such fun problems to solve and little mishaps along the way.  What a great show, you should watch it at least once.

Have a great Monday and thanks for stopping in!

I saw this technique using the leaves to make a wreath. What better way to use these color challenge with this technique, right? It's a little plain so I added some extra leaves to spice it up. What do you think?

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
