Tell me you won't be singing that song all day now?
Well I did it! I made my own Color Challenge thingie. Sankari has been so sweet to make them for me, but once I got the MDS I thought there had to be a way for me to do it, and I did it! I will still play with it more, but this turned out not too bad I think.
These colors were just inspired by me putting away scraps of paper left over from classes, or working on a swap. Sometimes that is the best way to see if you like something. You have all your cardstock scraps sitting there and then you go "hey, that looks good together" so then I punch circles out of each piece of cardstock and then I glue them in my inspiration book in a cluster, so I remember the next time. I am so visual that this is easier for me then just writing down Sage Shadow, Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black, Handsome Hunter, cause when you SEE the colors then you can FEEL the emotion of what the colors are…how about that for being all spiritual with my stamping. But I am sure you know what I mean, certain colors make you feel different…like you might say oh that makes me think cold, or these colors make me think of the beach.
So this week's Color Challenge is:
aren't those little doggies adorable? I'm pretending they are Toby.
And here is my card, and I keep forgetting to tell you the size, it is a standard card…which I believe is called an A4 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4):
Stamp Set: Herb Expressions
Paper: Basic Black, Tempting Turquoise, Handsome Hunter, Whisper White, Nouveau Chic DSP
Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Sahara Sand, Tempting Turquoise, Handsome Hunter, Sage Shadow
Misc: 5/16" white brads, white satin ribbon, Stampin' Up! backgrounds 1 texturz plate
Wanna play along with this week's color challenge? You have until Sunday October 11th at noon AZ time to do the
challenge, upload a card to your blog, Paper Craft Planet, or
Splitcoast stampers, and link it in your comment here on this post. I
will enter all the names into a hat and pick a winner for this
card.
So I was watching my Sunday night programs, and was wondering about Brothers and Sisters, did it not end last week with Justin and Rebecca getting in a car accident? This week it did not even mention it…what the heck? Did I miss it?
Hope you have a great Monday, and thanks for stopping in!
I love the little doggie colour challenge thing!!! I knew you would be able to figure it out once you got the MDS.
That's a cool colour challenge actually – and I love your idea about the clusters in a book!
another great idea brought to you by Diana Gibbs…drum roll please!!!!!
Luv ya
Jax
this card is so soft and pretty love the colors

Beautiful card! And if my poor old memory serves me right, last week I think Rebecca's car skidded around and missed hitting anything, just barely. I haven't seen last night's show yet, but maybe that's why they didn't mention it.
Jax, I learned that little cardstock circle idea from Jaron at one of SU! events.
Glad you like the doggie's…
Love ya too,
Big sis
Robin, I just remember the car looking like it was gonna crash, and then I don't remember them showing it miss, to me it seemed like a stay tuned till next week kinda thing to see what happened…I guess I wonder why did they even put that in the story line?
Thanks my friend,
Di
Hi Di — I'm a B&S fan, too. Last week, at the beginning of the show, it LOOKED like Justin and Rebecca were going to have an accident, but at the end, it showed that it was actually a near miss. Nora said she was worried about her children, and all through the episode, we think it's because of Justin, but it's actually Kitty she needs to worry about.
Love this weeks color combo! Have a great day!
Debbie
Here's my color challenge card-
Thanks for looking!

You are so right about singing that song – but then it is one that comes up in the shower and the car and …. quite a lot. I blame it on being a Madrigal singer for years and liking Renaissance Faires! Great tip for playing with colors Di. And a very sweet card (A2 is the description here in the States for that size – I think A4 is what the Aussies, English and maybe Canadians(?) call it). Love your challenge doggies and the placement of them head to head (avoids any weird comments about them sniffing each others tails – lol!).
Hugs and blessings my friend – Jean
Hi again, here's my take on the challenge. Great color combination.

Hi Diana,
This is Erica (the older black woman, OK, th only black woman) who used to be a demo and came to Rhonda's Monday evening mtgs. I just want to give you a BIG CONGRATS on your Artisan Award, and to let you know I lurk about on your blog now & then and always enjoy what I see. All the best to you. Oh, BTW, I think I'll read a book or two from your recommendation list.
