Wherever you go,

This 'n' That

17 Sep

go with all your heart.

That is the greeting in the Hostess set called "Asian Artistry". Pretty eh?

Today was one of those stressful days, that started out with me like totally worrying about our up-coming event because of a phone call I had received last night.  Things beyond our control were happening, and I just wanted to cry, but let me just say it is all better now, better then ever, and I am so thankful for Stampin' Up! as it has brought me friends in my life that are price-less and I treasure them, and I feel very lucky tonight.

I forgot I had this little stash of cards that I had not shown on my blog yet, and this is one of them. (Thank goodness for this little stash – I have not stamped in a few days cause of class prep, and today I had to go into town to pick up a special order item for our event).  This is one of the other cards from MAMMa's class that used punches.  Andrea Walford is the punch queen and this is where this little gem comes from.

Paper: Soft Suede, Rose Red, Whisper White, Thoroughly Modern DSP

Ink: Mellow Moss, Rose Red, Soft Suede

Misc: White taffeta, Modern Label punch, Wide Oval punch, 1" circle, 1 1/4" circle, chalks for cheeks, Basic Black marker for face, and white gel pen for cheek dots.

Isn't she cute?

Here is a little closer up.DSCN9084 copy

I am loving reading all your comments on the bird houses.  Too cute how you are trying to figure out which one is Jeff's by noticing little things.

I'll let you know tomorrow whose is whose.

Have a great Thursday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

Love this card the way it is but for a second my brain went into the twilight zone and envisioned the same asian darling with red hair as a sort of asian Pippi Longstocking!

Don't forget to breath Di…disasters always seem to work out better when you are fully oxygenated! Helps with the whole staying concious thing too – LoL!

Hugs to my favorite stamping sis – Jean

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
