Turtle Speed…

This 'n' That

9 Sep

…that is what it feels like, I am trying to get this whole feedblitz blog subscription thingie figured out and I really am at a loss as to what to do.  I sent out a test thing and that went, but I don't know if that means the blog feed is good.

I have the nice people at Typepad looking into it, and I hope we can figure it out, it seems like anywhere I click over in Feedblitz, they just want me to sign up and have to pay them monthly to have it on my blog, and well I really don't want to pay for that, when I know it is free.

It seems that the feed that has axom in the URL is the one that is giving problems and to be honest I have no idea where the axom feed came from.

When I first started my blog a year and a half ago I had all these sign up things on there, then they were not working or this, that and the other.  So I removed them and only had one on there which is Feedburner.  Well I was still getting subscription notices from Feedblitz that I was getting new subscribers, and I was like…how? it aint on my blog?  Yet I never got any notices from Feedburner about new subscribers.  So I thought I am putting feedblitz back on there, so who knows I might have done something wrong when I put it back up there.  I won't know till tomorrow when the feed thing comes through.  I just know that when I go to my Googlereader, my feedburner is updating over there and the axom (feedblitz) is not.  So now I am worried people will be thinking I am not updating.  Cause that is what I was like with the So Shelli (Shelli Gardner) blog, I was reading it in the Google reader, and somehow she did something or someone did something, but the feed was not updating, so I thought she was not updating her blog, till I went to look at it directly and I was like WOW! I had missed so much.  Somehow Googlereader was not snagging it.  So I added it again, and now it is working.

So long story short…yeah too late eh?  Kinda getting to the point at a snail turtle pace, be patient, and my fingers are crossed that it will be up and running tomorrow, if not just keep coming back, ya know I post every day, whether you want to hear from me or not….thanks everyone for your patience.

So let's get to a fun card.  This is another one of the cards I did at MAMMa's last class, and oh yeah speaking of MAMMa, Jeff and I met MAMMa and Jen for lunch at The Deli, I think they are now going to be addicted as much as me.  And yeah Jeff had, crab cakes as an appetizer, a Pastrami sandwich, pasta salad, shrimp bisque AND carrot cake.  Now the carrot cake I was hoping he would be too full to eat it and then bring it home and I would eat it later, but the bugger sat there and ate it…dang it.  He did bring half his sandwich home.  It was SO GOOD… the company and the food.

Oh yeah the card…sorry.

DSCN9190 copy Stamp Set: Very Thankful (this is actually the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set) The set is only $14.95 and Stampin' Up! donates $2.00 per set, now that is awesome.

Here is a closer shot, the turtle shell and the wheel were colored, cut out and popped on top with a glue dot…love that 3-D.

So my "My Digital Studio" should be here today, and I need to get all my work done now, cause I know once that baby goes in my computer I am gonna be having a blast with it.

You can order it October 1.  Let me know if you are interested.  Just like the Big Shot Classes we might have to do a My Digital Studio class, just to get the feel of it.

Well this girl is off for now, gonna cross my fingers when I hit publish, and that when the post goes live, all will be well.

Have a great Wednesday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
