Striped Grosgrain Ribbon “Color Change” Tutorial

Tutorials/Tips

29 Sep

This will be a quick post today.  A few of you commented on the striped ribbon and how cool it looked turned "Pixie Pink". So off to my tri-pod I skipped to make up this quick video. In fact I did it so quickly, that if you listen carefully, I never gave my phone (that I took off the hook) time enough to stop beeping…I didn't hear it till I watched the video, and I figured it was not that big of a deal so I did not re-do it…sorry if you can hear it.   Next time though, I will make sure to listen to the phone first…ha!

Anyway here goes:

Here's the post with the original card with the Pixie Pink ribbon.

Have an awesome Tuesday and thanks for stopping in.

Hi Diana, Can you color the ribbon by swiping it on a stamp pad? Did not know if this would work and maybe save some time. Thanks for your great posts and videos.

    Hi Wendi,
I used the marker cause I have more control. I can stay within the vanilla lines and it is not so messy on my fingers.
You could probably try with the ink pad, but then you would have ink all over the ribbon.

    Hugs,
    Di

Jax, I'll try the brown and pink. As for the nails, are you liking them polished? Or are you giving me a hard time?
It has been forever since I polished my own nails, and having fun getting out my old nail polish.

    Hugs,
    Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
