MAMMa’s Top Note Brag Book

3-D Items

5 Sep

A while back I showed the gifties I got from MAMMa when I went to convention and one of them was a Top Note Brag Book kinda envelope dealie-bob.

Brenda asked me to show it better, so here it is:

DSCN9103 copy Here it is closed. It is 2 Top Note Dies, the little closer strip of cardstock is glued on the inside back and the word window punch is attached with a couple brads, to make a "closure".

She stamped it all beautifully with the Medallion stamp, and did some faux stitching, and sponging. MAMMa doesn't do anything half a$$, its either full a$$ or none at all, that is why we love her so.

DSCN9102 copy Here is the inside, there is a strip of cardstock down the center that attaches the two Top Notes together.  Then the envelopes are decorated, and attached to each side to cover the cardstock strip.  They can hold a gift card, photos, whatever you want, if you are giving it to me, money is preferred…ha!

DSCN9101 copy This shows from the top so you can see that the Top Notes kinda butt up against each other with the cardstock on the inside holding them together.  I hope this helps.  It is a very cool idea and I love MAMMa for giving it to me, especially since there was chocolate in the rest of the gifties.

The other day I took Mr. Toby to get his hair cut.  Well I guess it was just trimmed, the last time I took him I said "we want to grow him long, so just clean him up" but when I picked him up his ears were still long, so I let it go (I mean I guess they can't read my mind..ha!) So this time when I went in they said "same as last time?" and I said "well we still want to grow him long, and I want him tidyed tidied cleaned up but I want his ears trimmed" so that is what they did and I must say he is a dapper little fellow and looked so handsome as he strutted his stuff on out of the groomer.

What do you think?

DSCN9133 copy Toby a.k.a. Bubba a.k.a. Toby Wan Kanobi a.k.a. Pisser

He has quite the beard growing eh?  And now his ears are all perky and happy, and he can see since they trimmed his "bangs".

I wanted to remind you about my Color Challenge, you have till Sunday September 6 at noon AZ time to do the challenge and I will pick a winner from all the entries to win the fun Kangaroo card.

A new color challenge will start on Monday.

If you want to order any Stampin' Up! items you see on my blog click here.

Well I am off to Rhonda's tomorrow so we can get the last of the September to Remember things figured out so we can get that all ordered.

Have a great Saturday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

Thanks for the pics Di! Looks like a must CASE project. Tell Toby with his beard he better start practicing his Chewbacca impressions! Still, a very dapper gentleman doggie. And just the right size for my cats to terrorize…Bwahhhhh that is if they ever came out from under the bed when he was around! My guys are very fierce but usually from a safe distance.

    Hugs and blessings – Jean

I just stumbled across your blog and I love it! You are so creative :O) Your yorkie is beautiful! I just barely got a male who's 9 weeks old. We love him . . . still learning about the breed, but so far so good. :)) I'll be back to keep up with your blog :O)

    Hi Melissa,
Glad you commented, and stumbled on my blog.
We love Toby so much, he is a little stinker. He is 7 pounds of unconditional love, and that is the best kind.
He still has a pee excitement problem and maybe that won't ever go away, usually we have to train our guests who come over and all is good.
Have fun with your little guy!
    Hugs,
    Di

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
