Faux Stained Wood Sheets Video Tutorial

Tutorials/Tips

8 Sep

Wow, three weeks in a row eh? I hope to keep it up.  If there is anything you want me to show you, make sure to let me know. That will help a lot.

Also in regards to Feedblitz, I am hoping it is fixed, cause I don't know why it has been acting up.  I won't know till tomorrow when my feed comes through.  If it still is giving you problems, I would suggest to add your email in the little thing and subscribe again maybe…I don't know.   But hold tight ok? (added: crud, my feedblitz did not come through again, well it comes through but it is saying the same thing as your getting…that it has changed, but I don't know what has changed, please just keep with me and I will figure it out…The email makes me have to click on 1. Search Stampin' With Di, and then another window opens and then I have to click on the go directly to Stampin' With Di – then it brings my blog up, I don't know why it is doing it…grrrr….if anyone has any idea…holler at me)  – (ok so this is worse to figure out then math/geography and science combined….I hope that it will be fixed tomorrow, I fiddled more with it, but I can't know till they send my feed and that won't be till tomorrow…sorry my friends)

So today's video tutorial is on Faux Wood Sheets, and it was kinda by accident it turned out like this, but a fun accident, especially for masculine cards which I find hard to do.

Here is a picture of the finished card that I will be showing on the video.

DSCN8581 copy

Stamp Set: Loads of Love, Loads of Fun, Family Phrases
Paper: Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Glossy
Ink: Basic Black, Soft Suede
Misc: sanding block, sansodor, stumps, watercolor pencils, dimensionals, stamping sponges

You have seen it before but this way you won't have to click around to see it.

If you want to order any Stampin' Up! products seen on my blog, please click here.

Now on to the show (I am hearing the Loony Tunes theme song in my head)…

Jeff has this week off, so him and the neighbor Jim are having a bird house making competition, the ladies that come to class this coming weekend are going to get to vote on whose they like the best. I'll put pics up on my blog after. Jeff made a sign outside the barn door "Stay out Jim". Those two are like a couple of kids, we really lucked out when we moved out here, it is like Jeff got another brother.

Well I am going back to cutting paper!

Have a great Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

K..so a couple of comments today..lovin' the card..will watch the tutorial at home..not at work…I'm glad that Jeff gets along with the neighbour so well – that makes all the difference in the world..but now the biggest comment…your weather widget….not a very nice addition…for us Canadian's who have really not seen summer this year yet!!! So I'll let ya get by with the weather widget for a while…but when I am sitting in my flannel pj's with my fuzzy slippers and it's minus 20 outside….I don't want to see a sunny high of 82 in Arizona!!!!! lol
Ha – can ya tell I'm jealous!!!
    Luv ya sis.
maybe the widget will be an incentive to save my pennies to come and see you!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
