You Take the Cake…

Uncategorized

2 Aug

…the Cupcake, that is.

Today was busy, well once I got up.  I stayed up till 2am and slept in a little.  Postponed my shopping trip till Sunday.  So today was laundry, cooking, and making swaps.  I need to get a lot of stuff done before I leave for Convention.

Here is another one of the cards for my TLC class, I will show you my swaps for convention when I get them done.

DSCN8576 copy Stamp Set: On Your Birthday
Paper: Real Red, Summer Sun, Glossy, Basic Black, Whisper White, Bashful Blue
Ink: Real Red, Summer Sun, Basic Black
Misc: Embossing folders, Top Note Die, Gingham ribbon, playground buttons, Cupcake die, My way punch, rubber cement, nestabilities

After I took the picture I noticed that I glued the flames on upside down, so they are fixed now, but I did not re-take the picture.  It is funny things you notice after you take a picture.

Well I gotta get back to my swaps!

Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

I have tried the rubber stamp method several times in the past couple of days. Combined blush with melon mambo and bermuda bay – very pretty
celery – with melon mambo and bermuda bay – very pretty
Crushed Curry with certainly celery – very bright but appealing – the first few I made the glue too much and too thick, after I thinned out my lines and reduced the # of lines I liked it much better
    Thank you for the tutorial

I am a Wife, a Mum and a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I have been married to my husband Jeff since 1984 and we have a son Eric who is almost 34. Eric has Autism so being a Demonstrator was the perfect job so that I could be home when Eric got home from school and still earn money to help with the household budget.

I have been a Demonstrator since 1999 and it has changed our lives so much. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.
