Rhonda and I are putting on an awesome event on September 26th in Mesa, called September to Remember, usually we do a Spring Fling or a Fall Fest but this one is a little different.
We have Linda Hansen coming to demonstrate and speak, we are so excited. If anyone has ever been to a Stampin' Up! event, you know who Linda is, and I know you love her as much as we do. I still chuckle thinking of her Spanx story and will forever see her in the video of the catalog tour spoof that was so funny we were all laughing so hard in class.
This is going to be a great day with some fun make n takes, and a great way to meet new and old friends. If you want me to email you the information let me know. The seats are filling up quickly.
Today I had my last catalog kick off party, and this is the third make n take everyone did. I took it to Rhonda's meeting tonight, so she could tease me about getting the bears…before convention I was like "why would I need those?" until we used them at Convention…ha! They are too cute.
What do you think? Wouldn't you like to make a dozen of these little guys?
I got the clothing, the pumpkin and the santa suit.
These little guys are not available till September 1, unless you are a Demonstrator and then you can pre-order them now…yeah that Demonstrator perk…gotta love it!
What is really cute is you can also mount them on magnet sheets and then you can dress and undress them as you please. How cute is that to keep your kids busy. In the car, on the fridge, gosh even in your office on the file cabinet. You know they are under your feet all day anyway…the kids, not the bears, give them something fun to do.
Now we always say there is one trick or tip you learn at convention that makes it worth going…well the friendships make it worth going, but you know what I mean, there has to be something business-y you learn right? Well this was my ahhhh!!! moment….let me turn this little critter over for you…
…there, look how easy this is to fill in the holes of the eyes and nose, and the pumpkin too, much easier then plugging the holes from the front.
This is such a neat trick, he does not look so neat from the back, but heck he will be put on a card or a scrapbook page, or that file cabinet, so you won't see all that on the back…awesome eh?
Oh and another thing I saw at Convention, and I almost said out loud "we sell those?" Was these little guys, that should be on my door stoop tomorrow or Wednesday…
…which means I will be washing the back window of my SUV for a little decorating…of course I just got us and Toby not this whole bunch of them, but how cute eh?
I'm thinking I might be modifying Jeffrey taking off the tie and maybe using the pieces as a mustache, do you think I can do it?
Hmmmm????????? I will take a picture when I have it done.
Well I am off to beddie bye, I had such a good day today, my kick off was fun, I met MAMMa and we drove together to Rhonda's, so it was nice to see everyone.
Tomorrow I gotta get to work, lots to do and so little time.
Have a super duper Tuesday and thanks for stopping in!
