…what movie was that from? Bob & Doug McKenzie? or that movie with Mike Myers, that for the life of me I can't remember the name only the "Schwing" saying they kept saying in it.
Before Convention the rest of the Artisan Award Winners and I had been emailing back and forth and we thought it would be fun to do a swap at dinner, and make a card for Shelli, Brent and the two concept artists, Robin and Angie too. I already showed mine before and I must say these girls knocked my socks off…
Here ya go…I hope you are ready…these are in no particular order, just the way I took them out of my ziplock bag to take pictures…
Shelley Bohan
I loved how she used the scallop border punch to make the rick rack ribbon, even Shelli commented on it when she looked at the cards.
Shelley even put a bit of crystal effects in the centers of the flowers.
I love all the little details she did, those Canadian girls…ya gotta love em…
This card has so much cutting out going on, this must have taken Mary Jo forever to make, and she totally has me wanting to order this Greenhouse Garden stamp set, and you know I am not a solid stamp lover…she even used a clear button, and I can't tell you the last time I used those…love it…
Shanna Jensen
This Medallion stamp, I do believe Stampin' Up! said it is the number one set right now and I see why, it is so versatile and makes quite a statement.
I love how Shanna threaded the beads on the wire and made a head out of the prettie pearl for the butterfly. This is adorable, just like her…
I love all the little extra steps on this card, I am gaga over Stampin' Up!'s embossing folders, and my gosh Lisa's cutting around the Gallery stamp is so even, you would swear it was a punch…
Angie had shown pieces of this swap on her blog, and it is so stinking cute. I have no idea how she sewed in a circle, I can barely sew a straight line.
I love the polka dotted red ribbon stapled to the front of the card, and I totally need to get this wood grain background stamp.
I got the Happy Together stamp set as an award for promotions at convention, so I am excited to ink it up.
What can I say about my girlfriend Cindy, her watercoloring is breathtaking, and look what she did to the kraft corduroy button, she colored it with the marker and changed the color…what a smartie….
This card put 5 pounds on me as soon as I looked at it, I swear it is cute enough to eat. All the little touches, the crystal effects, the glitter, the brad, OMG even that background paper is from my least favorite pack called Kaleidoscope and I am so getting it now…I am off to find some floss, I think I got some dazzling diamonds stuck in my teeth…
Jolene Slack – card closed – kinda – but it shows the front
I don't want to drool cause I don't want to mess up this gorgeous flower, first Jolene colored the flower, then she stamped on it, brilliant, it makes it look so expensive.
I love these colors together too, and the fancy little fish tail on the ribbon.
Let's open the card…
…now this is what happens when you oepn the card, the center like flips around so you see the back, it is very cool, and I am hoping my brain can figure it out, you know me and math…
Fran Sabad – card closed – Here is another brilliant 3-D card, one of my downline Debbie (hey girl) had taught us how to make these one time, and I love what Fran did to it.
I love Halloween and this is such a great invitation, but not just for Halloween, what about those over the hill friends you got…ha!
Lets open…or should I say squish down the card…
…look what it does, the tombstone sticks up now, and the card stands up.
I do live on Tombstone you know, so I could use this card, all year long…Boo! Did I scare ya?
I must say all these cards are going to stay in a special place for always, and I am so looking forward to getting to know the girls better as the year goes by.
I hope the names stay with the cards, I make it all look nice and tidy and then I hit publish and then wacko wacko everything is a jumbly mess…ha!
Oh ya wanna little sneak peek of my card I will show you tomorrow? It is one of the make n takes for my Kick Off party this weekend…
…here ya go…aren't I bad? Teasing you like that!
Have a super duper Thursday, and thanks for stopping in!
See you tomorrow!
Oh you are totally worthy! The cards are all stunning! So many cool ideas! Just an FYI…splitcoast has the directions for the Flip-Flop card and the one that stands up. I actually made a flip-flop baby announcement when my daughter was born.
Oh I also nominated you for a blog award. You can check it out on my blog at:

Oh, my word…these cards are absolutely beautiful! Congrats, again, to you all! :o)
You are too funny. The movie by the way was Waynes World. The cards are beautiful.
Yes, Wayne's World!! BUT YOU ARE WORTHY!! These are amazing cards and you should be spanked for teasing us like that! BAD GIRL!
Ha! Thanks for sharing everyone's cards; can't wait to see yours!!

These are some gorgeous cards! I can't decide which one is my favorite. I definitely love the Graveyard Gala card and how it sits. I'm totally going to case the one by Shanna Jensen. I LOVE the Medallion stamp (my favorite right now). Thanks for sharing all these great cards!
All those cards are incredibly gorgeous, but that Halloween card has got to be the coolest card I've seen in the 5 years I've been doing Stampin Up! Wow! I think you need to do that one in one of your classes. I'm there!
You are waaaaaay worthy! The Artisan Award couldn't have found a nicer home. I thought that the "I'm not worthy!" came from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure with Keanu Reeves and Mike Myers??? Maybe?
these are amazing!!! thanks for sharing.
(ps: I loved Wayne's World. It was better than Mike Myers' Austin Powers' ones. But his So I Married An Axe Murderer was even better than that!!!! Those funny Canucks!!!!) *wink*
You always make me smile and I love reading your blog! Congrats on your Artisan Award.

As one of your downline I know you are worthy to win the award and not surprised you did! We have seen your creative, clever stuff at meetings, stamp classes, etc. and know it's all wonderful.
The other ladies did a FABULOUS job on their cards as well…Bravo! I adore the flower colored and stamped on, very clever. Yes, I remember demoing that stand up card and being a nervous wreck! LOL I love the tomstone idea.
those are great cards.
I can see why you all were picked as Artisan winners.
