Drum Roll Please

3-D Items

9 Aug

Ok, so I am kidding…no drum roll.  Anyway here are a couple of my Artisan entries.  Now I am torn between just showing you all of them at once, or showing you one or two a day…I mean I am like a kid at Christmas time…now! now! now!  If I show you one a day, it allows me to work on other things for classes, and stuff, as then I have projects to post for days…then I am worried that someone else will have taken pictures of them at convention and then they post them on their blog, and I don't get to debut them ya know?…so I don't know what to do. I might just show you the 3-D items today, and space out the other things…how is that?

I think this was my favorite.

DSCN7665 copy Paper: Sweet Slumber DSP, Parisian Breeze DSP
Misc: Leaf die, Daisie 2 die, Summer Sun Corduroy Buttons

And isn't this little angel a cutie?  This is one of my friends and downline Karen's little girl Tatum…I mean heck she even has a cute name.  I just love the expression, and the picture was perfect for the frame.

Maybe when the judges were looking at it, they thought she was saying "come on Mister, you gotta pick Diana"  – Ha!

Here is the other 3-d that I sent in.  We did a smaller version of this in a class I did a while back by just stacking 3, this one was just two stacks of three put together and then the Top Note on top and bottom.  I dyed some Pretties flowers in tea, and put them on top, and OMG! so this was the first thing I did to send in and it seemed to take forever, I did the 3-d's first, then the scrapbook pages, and last the cards, as I am a card maker and those come to me easier.  Anyway, this was all done and then I thought what if I wrap the back and side with paper to finish it off and hide the seams in the back where the dies meet.  So I put my glue on the DSP and wrapped it and then I was like OMG! I just glued the dang drawers to the back!! Luckily I thought of it quick and also luckily I used the Tombow Multi-Purpose glue and not sticky strip, cause if I had to have had to remake this I would have not been a happy camper stamper. So I got it apart in time and all was good in the Gibb's household Stamp Studio..Ha!

DSCN7663 copy Paper: Sweet Slumber DSP
Misc: Pretties flower, designer button, Die for tag, rub-on for Happy Mother's Day, Chipboard, Jumbo brads, Riding Hood Red Striped ribbon

So come back tomorrow and I will show you the scrapbook pages.

Don't forget that tomorrow is the last day of my No Tax, No Shipping Special…click here for more information.

Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

I love this. I need to make one for sure. I think it would make a great class.
Just so you know…I have already seen all of your projects on a blog from someone who took pictures at convention.
but I'm sure not everyone will have seen them. I could not get over the number of display boards – wowsers!
    Luv ya

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
