What’s For Dinner?

This 'n' That

6 Jul

Who's to say you have to color this bear a regular bear color.  I mean what if it was a girl bear, in like a cartoon or something?  Then maybe she would be pink. I wanted to use my new DSP, and well they have some wild colors in them that don't necessarily say regular bear, so I'm thinking outside of the box for this one.
I saw this adorable card on Amy Rysavy's blog, and I saved it to recreate the lay-out sometime and today's the day.  This is my take on the card. Didn't change it hardly at all…cause you can't mess with something already so cute. Amy's were 3×3, this one is 4×4.

DSCN8436 copy Stamp Set: Under the Stars, Family Phrases, Just Beachy (this was in the mini that just ended)
Paper: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade
Ink: Basic Black Classic
Misc: Crushed Curry Polka-dot grosgrain, eyelet border punch, watercolor pencils, sansodor, stumps.

Clara Bear has found some yummy goodness for supper, and she is hoping someone else will do the skinnin' and guttin' cause she don't much like that job at all.

I remember when we were little (this will sound gross) but one time Poppa was gutting fish and he gave us the little air things inside the fish to play with.  Now isn't that an odd memory to have?

Well now that I semi have the old video figured out, I am gonna try to get another video done for you today to post tomorrow, who knows maybe I can get back to my Tutorials on Tuesday again.

Have a great Monday, Jeff has a flux day so he is off, perhaps he can help cut paper….nah!

Thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

Adorable! Who would have thought to do it up that way but you. I need to think outside of the box more often. I have fish gut stories too. We used to stay in a cabin up at Hawley Lake in the White Mountains a couple weeks every year. I would catch fish and then categorize the guts into different piles. Now that's gross!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
