TLC Class – Ink Wash Faux Embossing

This 'n' That

11 Jul

So earlier this month I was trying to figure out the third technique for my monthly Technique class, and I clicked on over to one of my fabulous downline and computer guru Bunny Cates blog and saw this awesome technique.  She learned it here at Jennifer McGuire's blog. For the life of me I can not find where it was, so just enjoy looking around, and maybe you will find it.  If you find some techniques you want to do hands on in upcoming classes, let me know.  Just remember I need to be able to do it with Stampin' Up! inks etc.  Like this technique is converted to using Stampin' Up! products.

Anyway, here is the card, and I just love this technique…thanks Bunny and Jennifer for inspiring me!

DSCN8471 copy Stamp Set: Just Jawing, Gratuitous Grafitti

Paper: Not Quite Navy, Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: Basic Black, Not Quite Navy, Versamark

Misc: Watercolor pencils, sansodor, stumps, My Way punch, Stampin' Mist, stamping sponge

Cool eh?

It looks neat in the new Dusty Durango color too, rugged and cowboy-ish.  I am gonna do more with this technique.

Well I am getting off here quick tonight.  I got class in the morning, and need to tidy up a bit.

Have a super Saturday and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

I read the book Wicked (and the 2nd one in the series as well) after I saw the play. Although the book is good, the play is AWESOME! If you can, Go and see it. They are different (but what book turned into movie/play isn't?) but I was really impressed by the show!! I would see it again in a heartbeat!

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
