Calendars, ChitChat, and Blog Award(s)

This 'n' That

19 Jul

So the other day when I saw the preview of the new Holiday Mini I saw there is going to be a new 2010 Calendar Kit, and I am so loving the look of it.  I do a calendar class every year and I will be doing it again this year.  Last year I also did calendar kits in the mail, which were very popular, so if you want to know when those will be available make sure to sign up for my newsletter.  Email me at digibbs@stampingwithdi.com and asked to be added to get my monthly newsletters.

Today was my first day of Parisian Breeze classes, and everyone loved the projects.  I have another class tomorrow and on Monday, and that will wrap this baby up.

The other day I got a blog award from Nicole Anderson, and I had never seen this award before, and not only am I honored to get this from the very talented Nicole, I must admit the "I Like Your Style" blog award is gorgeous….what do you think?

I-Like-Your-Style When I first saw it, I thought it was a butterfly, and then I looked at it better, and it is actually an eye, it is so cool looking, I mean there might even be birds flying underneath, I don't know, but it is pretty.  Thanks Nicole.

I know I am supposed to give this award to other bloggers, but I was thinking how about YOU tell ME who you think should get this award.  I love finding new blogs to look at.  I mean I think I have seen them all, and then click you find one and say "where've you been all my life blog?"

Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

HI DI! Thank you for the very kind words, I am truly flattered that you see me as TALENTED! (I'm blushing!)

This is a SUPAH idea of taking recommendations for bloggers! I do not know this gal, and she may be famous and popular already, but I have never heard of her (and just found her myself a week ago or so).

She's not SUP related, NOR card-related either, but you still should see her scrapbook layouts, so inspiring! I don't scrapbook, but after I leave her blog, I actually DO want to try my hand at it!

Blessings to you, My Pretty! (as the wicked witch would say!)

OH, and I guess I should add to the above post of mine, that Tara has already been given this award, too, but she is worthy of at least having more attention drawn to her, if not receiving this award AGAIN!

Congratulations on receiving this well deserved recognition, Diana!!! You are one of my favorite visits on my "blog tour"!!!! For the award I have two suggestions: Nancy Riley @ http://stampinat6213.blogspot.com/ because she highlights alot of different bloggers weekly on Sundays whose work she discovers as she "blurfs" (surf blogging – love that word) and she is a very talented crafter as well. The 2nd suggestion is one of the people she often highlights that I think is fabulous is Tessa @ http://craftygrl.blogspot.com/.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
