Now What?

3-D Items

11 Jun

My BFF Tracy went home this morning, I mean she is already at home asleep in her own bed with her cutie patootie hubby Steve, who I am sure is so darned happy to have her back, I bet he fell asleep with a smile on his face…get your mind out of the gutter…you know what I mean!

We did have the best time and did so much, but then I think, well we didn't have carna asada french fries at Filiberto's, she didn't get to meet my friend Teri and Sharon. We wanted to go see the new Ryan Reynolds movie, but the dang thing don't come out till the end of the month. She missed Eric cooking supper, cause Sara who helps him is coming Wednesday and not Tuesday now.

DSCN8316 copy Look what it was too. Eric's famous Fruit Cookie (they keep trying to do a different desert, and we keep saying no…), and tonight he tried a new main course, Eric's Special Spaghetti Alfredo with Shrimp and Bowtie Pasta. Both were delicious, I sent Tracy a picture of what we were eating and she said that she was coming back.  That was 3 hours ago, I keep checking the laneway, and no sign of her yet.  She may have been pulling my leg…do ya think?

I however would never pull your leg, when I said I laid down and read in the back seat of the SUV while Jeff drove Tracy and I around sight seeing in the mountains and stuff…here ya go friends. The proof is in the pudding picture.

DSCN8307 copy Now if only the SUV was 3 feet wider I might have rested a little more comfortable, but hey I managed to nap, and they tried to tell me that I snored…yeah right?

DSCN8308 copy Here is Tracy, and she is saying "Girlfriend, you're a piece of work!" she says that lovingly though.  I mean heck I'm her BFF she has to take me like I am…right?

Gosh I miss her already.  While we were in Globe we stopped at a Rusty Pickle Barrel or something like that. Jeff got me interested in going by saying "oh there are antique stores", well let me tell you this was not an antique store, it had beautiful items, and they had a little room in the back with antiques, it was more kinda consignment like.  Some of the items outside in the yard were funny.  They say that Texas has big bugs…check out this critter…

DSCN8313 copy …wouldn't want to tick him off eh? I had my camera on the wrong setting as it all has a blue overcast look…but these were fun to look at, all made with rocks and metal.

So while Tracy was here, she set herself up on one of the tables, and she sat in the corner and she had stuff sitting around like a little wall so we could visit and I could not see what she was doing…like I would peek!!!

She worked on gifts for MAMMa and Rhonda, and she also did some stuff for me.  I think she did this while she was here, I am not sure, but look how cute this little gift ensemble is.

DSCN8317 copy A beautiful card, and a tin decored with flowers and in the tin was a silver necklace.

I do believe I will be copying this card.  Don't you just love it?

Stamp Set: Crazy for Cupcakes

Paper: Ruby Red, Baja Breeze, Sweet Slumber DSP, Watercolor Paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Ruby Red, Going Gray

Misc: Baja Breeze wide grosgrain, word window punch, silver brads

Love it!

Tracy says she got the little tins at Walmart in the wedding section.

DSCN8320 copy Look how beautiful the necklace is, and it says Friends Forever(lots of times).

One of my friends and fellow Paper Craft Planet DT girls asked today what was the best thing about being a SU! Demonstrator, and the first thing I said was the friends that I have made, and I mean it.  I am not saying that to be sappy, or silly…it is the God's honest truth, I like to believe that Tracy and I would have met somehow but SU! made us meet sooner, I mean OMG! MAMMa and I lived a block or two apart for years and years, and never met.  We met once we moved to Queen Creek and they moved to Gilbert, and we met because of Stampin' Up! So when I think of that, I think how would Tracy and I have met when she lives so far away in PA, and MAMMa and I never even knew each other living that close.  Whatever, enough chitchat about that, but I just had to share. I believe…ok get ready for this…you know when you have de-ja-vu ( I am sure I spelled it wrong) I believe that when we are born our life is already mapped out for us.  So as we go along our merry way, doing this and that, one day you walk into a store you have never been in, and (insert eery music here) you think gosh I've been here before, I think that is when your life has gotten back on track. I know wacky Di is chatting up some B.S. but I don't know, I always say prove me wrong.

Have a great Thursday, I will be getting my class stuff ready for this weekend, no more vacation, it's back to work time.

Thanks so much for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

I think you are spot on about our lives being mapped out. We just don't know it, because we can't remember all the stuff we planned before we came back this time! (yeah, I believe in reincarnation!)
I'm sorry that your BFF has gone home, but glad that you had the time together. See you this weekend! Hugs, Penny

I'm so glad you had a great time with your BFF. I totally know what you mean about your life being mapped out. I don't know about reincarnation or anything like that, but sometime I KNOW I've met someone who I knew before. Like our souls were friends in Heaven before we were born on this earth. I have a couple friends and some of my in-laws that I am so close to, like we've known eachother forever and we just CLICK!

That card is cute! And I'm glad to be seeing the treats that Tracy got for you!
How fun is that – to get little pillow gifts – in your own house!
Did she bring along a "pool boy" too! Maybe one that looks like Ryan Reynolds!
I hear you on the Stampin' Up! friends thing. My BFF I met through SU as well. It's crazy to think that it all happened because of a chunk of wood and some rubber!! Your comment about having your life mapped out makes me think of my friend Janet, who passed. She was a firm believer in reincarnation and told me that we had met before and told me what the place looked like. I sure hope she was right cause I miss her like crazy and can't wait to find her again. Regardless if you are wrong or right…whatever happens….. the map, or the detour, the stars or whatever – had great plans making us sisters. I love you so much.
    big hugs,
    little sis, Jax

Well as we were SQUEEZING and CRYING in the Airport!! I wanted to say threw my tears and sobbing…
"Let's not Cry because it's over. Let's be HAPPY because it happened!!" I remember reading a similar phrase once and knew it was wrote for us, cause we always sob when we have to part!! But it's nice to know we have made lots of future plans!! Now that makes me smile!!
I LOVE YOU BFF and thanks for the Awesome time. I'm glad we didn't get to do everything , keeps me wanting to come back!!
But really my favorite thing to do is just "Hangout and do nothing but chat and laugh"
    BIG HUGS
    Da BFF

Sounds like fun for you and your BFFs.
Just curious? Don't they require you to wear seatbelts in the US? What kinda Canuck are ya??? LOL You be careful lounging there in the back seat untethered.

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
