Lots of Bots, & a Tiny Little Announcement

This 'n' That

12 Jun

As Demonstrators we are able to order a few of the stamp sets that will be available in the new catalog, and a few of the Hostess sets too. I got my stuff while my BFF Tracy was here, but today I actually inked one up.  I loved this set as soon as I seen it…I mean it's cute and funky and you color it in, what more would I want eh?

So I think that everyone that comes to my 10/10/20 Birthday card class will want to make a fun cute card too, so they are going to get to use a new set. Am I a tease or what? Let me know what you think? Like it?

DSCN8322 copy Stamp Set: Lots of Bots

Paper: Basic Gray, Bashful Blue Textured, Whisper White, Urban Oasis DSP

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Going Gray, Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Regal Rose, Gable green

Misc: Oval punch, Basic Gray Taffeta, white gel pen

This is a 3×3 card so it will help you with the visual.  I love the square cards.

I cut and popped the screw and bolt above the greeting.  The greeting is part of the 'bot but I cut it separate, and mounted it on a spare little block I had. This works only as long as all the blocks fit in the box…I was lucky, you can mount it on the side of the block, but it gets in the way.

So wanna hear my little tiny announcement?  Remember a couple months or so ago I was telling you that I was working on my Artisan Award entries?  Well….um…about 3 weeks ago I got a phone call from Brent Steele from Stampin' Up!, and it seems that well…um…they picked me as one of the 10 Artisan Award winners for 2009.  I am so excited that I can hardly stand it.  I get a $500.00 cash award, a $500.00 shopping spree from the new catalog, an Artisan Momento, and I get to go to dinner with Shelli (Cofounder and CEO of SU!), Brent, and 2 concept artists, as well as the rest of the winners at convention. It is being announced today, so I thought I would tell you all as well.  I want to thank all of you for reading my blog, because you keep me stamping every day (well unless my BFF is here, and then I take some time off), but I am always thinking of what you all would like to see.  So thank you!!!

I hope you have a great Friday, Micheal J Fox and Ryan Reynolds are going to be on Racheal Ray, and Adam Lambert is gonna be on 20/20.  I want to see both shows, so I have to get all my work done, so I am ready for Saturdays technique class.

Thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
