…Margarita!!!!
OK, so this will be a quick post. My BFF Tracy got here today, and we had a couple margarita's with supper so I am feeling a little tipsy, I hope I don't spell anything wrong!
So anyway, we get to the airport and check the flight arrivals to see what gate to go to, and it says that Tracy's flight is cancelled, and I am like "cancelled? what the heck does that mean?" so then I was freaked…OMG! did it crash? what is going on? So we went to another board and it said the same thing. I even asked at the Information booth and the lady said it is cancelled and that is all the Information she had, and I said "what exactly does information mean?" cause heck she gave me the same information I knew…so we went down stairs to the ticket place, and I didn't want to call Steve (Tracy's tight butted hubby) and get him all worried, but when we couldn't find anyone that could help us…don't ya love it now a days, when all you have is a computer to talk to? Nope…not me! So I said well I will call Steve. So Steve was like yaeh! He says yeah! with a Pennsylvania dutch accent…"yaeh, she got a different flight cause the plane she was on would have crashed if they took off" So she came in on a different plane company and a different terminal, so I left a message on her phone and told her we were on our way, and to call me. As we were getting out of the SUV, my phone rang with her special ring, and she was like "we just landed" and I was like "we didn't know where you were" and she said "I sent you two text messages"…but I didn't get them…so luckily it all worked out by the time we got there, we waited maybe 15 minutes at the most, and there was my girl coming down the galleyway, it has been forever since we seen each other, since Convention last year, this is the longest we have gone without seeing each other.
So we went to lunch, and came home. We stopped at the Pork Shop and got ribs and Jeff smoked them on the smoker, they were delicious. I will show a picture tomorrow. Tracy is off to bed, she is whooped, she did not sleep much last night and there is 3 hours difference, so it is late for her. I am going to bed now too, we got lots planned for the next 6 days…….
Here is one of the cards for my 10/10/20 Birthday card class. I went to MAMMa's house and she had this card on her display board and I took a picture of it. Hers was done in different colors, but I wanted to use up my Tangerine Tango paper and ribbon, so here it is…Tracy loves it.
Stamp Set: Family Phrases, Party Hearty
Paper: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Apricot Appeal
Ink: Apricot Appeal, Tangerine Tango, Baja Breeze, Basic Black
Misc: 3/4" circle punch, Tangerine Tango ribbon
So tomorrow we are not sure what we are doing, Jeff has the day off, but he has to have a tire fixed and get the emissions checked on his truck…so we were gonna have him drop us off at the shopping nearby…BUT the TV that Eric bought a month or so ago, the Input 2 does not work, so they are coming out tomorrow to fix it…between 1 and 5…eye-yi-yi! as Tracy says.
So I hope you have as great a Thursday as I will be having, even if we are stuck at home, Tracy and I got some fun stamping to do!
Thanks so much for stopping in! I appreciate your friendship so much!

Cute little birthday hats!
First – I LOVE your card (fantastic color combos) today! Second – Input 2 is the "channel" where James gets to watch his (cooking/Power Ranger/Scooby Doo)dvds – so indeed, trauma in the house. Love the airport bit, but hate the rig-a-ma-role you had to go through. Cheers! and enjoy your time regardless!!!
so cute, Diana!
ACK! This is FANTASTIC!! i've had this set for months and have struggled every time i've pulled it out, but this is marvelous and so easy!
thanks for sharing (and thanks to Nancy Riley for the linky!)
WOW, those colours look amazing together! Love your card design, too!
