Humm…

This 'n' That

14 Jun

…ers.  I wish I could video tape the little hummingbirds darting around. I tried with my camera and all you see is a black flash, you wouldn't even know what it was.  Oh and the other day the little tiny bunny was so funny with the prairie dog, he would hop over, get really close, and then the prairie dog would do something, and he would jump straight up in the air about 12 inches.  They did it about 4 times, and of course I didn't have my camera handy, it doesn't zoom super good and that far.

When Tracy was here there was a big pile of dirt by the back patio and a hole going underneath the concrete and we were like what is that? So I put the window up in the bedroom by the side of the patio where the hole was, and we kept looking, and sure enough, just what we thought…

DSCN82662 …ol' digger at it again.

It was kinda neat to be able to take the picture though, cause this is the closest I have ever been to one other then the one trapped in the garbage can that time. This little guy didn't know he was being watched. Cute but a pain in the butt they are.

So today was my TLC (Technique Lover's Club) Class, and everyone enjoyed the techniques I think, I had two rounds of classes, and then I have one tomorrow morning.  I had no idea it would be popular so had only scheduled Saturday classes, then when I started to get too many people signing up I had to move some people to Sunday.  So now I know from now on.  Two classes on Saturday, and two classes on Sunday.  They are fun classes, and who doesn't want to learn new techniques?

I wanted to show you the beautiful card that my BFF Tracy left for me on the table next to our picture from Convention a couple years ago.  She left little notes all over the house, I am gonna be so embarrased if she said did you find the one on top of the fridge or something like that, cause well I am the worst housekeeper, and it might be years before I find it.  So anyway, look at this card…drooling aren't you?

DSCN8321 copy Stamp Set: Spring Song

Paper: Real Red, Whisper White, Watercolor paper

Ink: Jetblack Stazon, Ballet Blye, Kiwi Kiss, Old Olive, So Saffrom, Bashful Blue

Misc: Cuttlebug folder, gems (may have come out of the rhinestone brads), oval punch, white gel pen, wide real red grosgrain, scallop punch for cloud shape

Isn't this beautiful, and OMG! I need to take a picture of the shadow box frame she made me, I put it on my shelf…did I take a picture already?  hmmmm….will have to look, but that can be another day, I am gonna milk these lovelies for a while.

Oh and look at this other gift from Tracy, she had to tease me about how big my glasses used to be, you know the wind shield I used to wear (eh Sharon? – ha), so she blinged these glasses up, even added my nickname on them, remember when the glasses had a name on them…I did not have my name on mine ever, although they were big enough I could have put my full name, address, and even my social security number on them…and when we came home from Globe, Eric had put them on and fell asleep with them on…it was so funny we had to take a picture of him. What a nut…he really gets it from his father…honest…would I kid you?

Well this old gal is headed to bed.  Looking forward to seeing some more TLC'ers tomorrow morning.

Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!

A digibbs siggy

OMG…I'm dying of laughter right now. Tears are streaming down my face! Those glasses are hilarious and even more hilarious that Eric fell asleep with those things on his face. I would have loved to see him when he woke up – Ha!! Too funny!

I loved the card class yesterday. You can bet that I'll be trying those cool techniques out on my own if I ever get the time. I can't wait for next month!
