…ok well you all know I suck at math, and I am too tired to really figure it out, all I know is that my BFF Tracy will be here Wednesday morning. We have so much planned to do, and how sad that a lot of those plans involve eating…what the heck is that all about? But it is true isn't it? I swear you go on vacation and you come back and your friends say "How was Hawaii?" and you are all like "OMG…well you would say Oh My Gosh and not actually say O.M.G….the Luau was so great, we had this rice, and the meat was so tender…" that is the truth. So anyway the last time Tracy was here and it was her first time, she came for a week, but most of the week was spent in California for Leadership, so she was really not HERE at my house for a week, so there was tons of things we didn't get to do. So we are writing them down baby, we don't want to forget anything. What do you mean you just ate two hours ago, we got 2 more restaurants on our list…you can do it…remember John Candy in the Great Outdoors and he ate that humungous steak and if he finished it all he got it for free? The raccoons would go through the garbage and they would chitter and the subtitles were on the bottom of the screen, I love that movie, and Dan Ankroyd is always saying WOW, I really need to watch that again. They were quite the comedy team. John Candy, died way before his time.
So anyway, I am still working on my 10/10/20 class and I saw a variation of this card on Valerie's blog, and I just loved the beautiful look and simplicity of it, and just know everyone is going to love it. I just changed it ever so slightly, but I got the idea from Val , and just so you know, she looks EXACTLY like her picture, and is the sweetest gal.
Paper: So Saffron, Whisper White, Basic Gray, Walk in the Park DSP
Ink: Basic Gray, So Saffron, More Mustard, Kiwi Kiss
Misc: Dimensionals, Gray Tafetta
Tip: To get the darker edges on the butterfly, I first stamped it in the So Saffron ink pad, and then I rolled just the edges in the More Mustard ink pad, then I stamped it on the paper. Cool eh?
So I watched Medium tonight, that was a good one. I don't usually watch the show, I just catch it now and then, and with the TV not working in the studio (still no cable guy – anyone that reads this should tell their cable company that Queen Creek needs a good cable company out here, maybe if the current one had some competition their service and prices would be better), I have not been able to watch tv out here, plus if I am in the house I ain't working….
Well have a super Tuesday, and thanks for stopping in!
