So today is the second day to answer a question to have your name put in to win my Mystery Blog Candy on the 28th. Today's question is: What is your favorite Stampin' Up! stamp set of all time, this can be a retired set or a current set. My answer is Stella Stamper.
Make sure you answer the question down underneath this post in the comment section. If you don't see the comment section, then right under this post will be a word that says comment. Click on that and it will open up for you. A few of you answered over in the little box to the left, that is what you want to use if you have a question, or if I want to answer something in a comment….I know details, details…ha!
You will be happy to know that I got Eric's sandwich ordered for his graduation party. Jeff was telling me I had to give 2 weeks notice. So I was freaking since it is a week away…so I called and they need 24 hours notice…I freaked for nothing.
My sister is saying what she is thankful for on her blog. I am thankful that the hairs on my chin are now coming in gray, they are less noticeable then the dark ones, so if I don't pluck them fast enough it is harder for people to see them. I am such a Pollyanna. ha!
Have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping in!
Hi Diana!!
My all time favorite set would have to be Fantastic Foliage from 1998!! Time after time that gets pulled out and even if it is just as an accent I find some place for those leaves or needles on a card. Especially the masculine cards or Christmas cards with the pine needles. I have so many other favorites it is hard to choose, but based on overall usage, Fantastic Foliage wins! Hope everyone is having a great Holiday weekend!
ellie 🙂
Hi, Di! Well, I haven't been an SU stamper for very long, so my favorite set is pretty current! :^) I really love so many of them, but I find the Branch Out set can be used in so many ways. So I guess that is my favorite set this week. :^)
Hello, I dp love all you cards, you do very good work. I would have to say that me favorite stamp set is Ufroggetable ( don't know what year) but I know that it is retired. But I use it alot with Some Like It Hot stamp set. Have a great weekend and Holiday.
tina
How do you choose one?? I have only been stamping for 2 years, so that is a pretty limited time given all the beautiful stamps SU has produced. So, I would have to say that "Loads of Love" is the best!! That cute pick up truck has pleased anyone that has received her!! It truly has been a great stamp set!
My favorite set is "Happy Winter" one of the smallest and probably dopiest little sets, but I find it endearing, charming, reminds me of when I was a child and most importantly, never fails to make me smile.
Barbara
I love your card! I think my favorite SU! set is Sock Monkey, but since I honestly have only inked him up ONCE I'll say my favorite and most used set is Just Jawing!
Hello,
My fav set is "Lovely as a Tree", I use that about three out of five cards. Omg you can use it for every holiday. Love Love it.
I would have to pick the Party harty stamp set as my favorite. I have tons of different ways to use this set. Happy Memorial Day!
crayon kids…love your blog!
Good Morning,
Lovely as a tree is my favorite, but it's hard to pick just one!
BTW, I know white chin hairs are harder to see to pluck! Don't ya love getting older : )
Happy Sunday! My favorite set of all time is Roses in Winter. I use it all the time. Have a great holiday weekend!
Pretty Princess. She has a magic wand. I want a magic wand! I would make all chin hair DISAPPEAR!!!
My favorite is Loads of Love ….. really like how you developed this card and because of you I have started using my pencils with the sanodor and like that techniques and getting great results with my pencils…..thanks
My favorite SU set is an older one called Blossums Abound.
Love your blog. It's one of the high points of my day.
An oldie….All wrapped up!!! I love that little bag and jar….
Probably "Lovely as a Tree", but "Upsy Daisy" is closing the gap! I do wish I lived close enough to come to your classes! They look wonderful, informative as well as fun.
Diane
My all time favorite set is Hand Painted Petites…I just love that set. One I pull out very often to stamp my thank you letters for orders is also Border Builders…
Hi, Being new to Stampin Up I only have a few but my favorite floweres are lilacs so Blossoms Abound.
Ack! I can't remember the name of my favorite set. Interestingly it is a sympathy set that has been retired for some time but it has just the perfect sentiments for making sympathy cards.
I just remembered…Close as a Memory. Whew!
My favourite Lovely as a Tree – I always come back to it when I am making cards for all occasions.
You crack me up…..I haven't done my blog post for today yet, but I think I know now what I am thankful for today!!!
Luv you
Jax
I can't remember the name, it is at home but it is the Christmas Santa set with the Palm Tree and Warm Wishes. Because we spend Christmas in California it is perfect.
"artfully asian is mine with lovely as a tree coming pretty closse. Thanks or the opportunity to win
Eileen
I am very new to stamping – so I have only a few sets right now. I would say that my favorite would be "Crazy for Cupcakes".
Smiles, Joanne
My fave RIGHT NOW, is 5th Ave. Floral, but I would say my ALL TIME fave would have to be Best Blossoms. It is an OLDIE but I still tend to use it ALOT!!
Your Boatload card is ADORABLE…guess I need that one! LOL
Julie
My favorite of all time is Lovely as a tree, it is so versatible and I have made many of cards with it. Have a happy Sunday!
My favorite stamp set — and the first one I bought from Stampin Up is Loads of Love. I love how you can use it for so many different projects. Connie J.
I'd have to say my favorite stamp set is Bronc Buster, but that'll probably change when the new stamps come out. Cute Boatloads of Love card! You do a nice job of coloring. I need to learn how to color like you!!!
My favorite set is Baroque Motifs. I also love Tart & Tangy. It's really hard to choose!!
My favorite SU! set is Lovely as a Tree. I have been using & loving it for years!
Hmmm… best most favorite-est?! well, there was this Christmas set a few years back. It was Santa in swim trunks, a palm tree with lights, and a few beachy bits. No idea what it's called but I love that one. It don't use it often (seasonal and all). The one I go to most often, regardless of the reason for stamping is my diamond-patterned background stamp.
I am thankful there are so many wonderful creators that share their creations online so we can all be inspired. 🙂
My fav set would have to be Fifth Ave Floral. This is a newer set but it is sooooo versatile.
Just one? I love them all….
OK, I will choose Baroque Motifs, it is my go to when I am in a creative rut. I can ALWAYS make a good looking card with this set, in almost any color combination.
Julie
I love your coloring on this card…awesome! I love "Paint Prints" such a great set 🙂
My favorite stamp set is Baroque Motifs. It is beautiful!
I love love love the set Always. No matter what new stamps I get, I keep going back to that bird!
my favorite is crabby family with 'mr crabby pants'
Right now I love Crazy for Cupcakes! Looking forward to your technique clas. Michelle
I agree with you, Di. Stella Stamper! I've kept it all these years and still use it for things for my DL…
Next fav would be the batik one we had years ago….
My favorite stamp set from Stampin' Up! is "Just Buzzin' By" This set really inspired me and led me to teach one of the best and most challenging classes I ever offered!!
My favorite SU set is Lovely as a Tree. Thanks for the chance to win.
Without a doubt, HAPPY CAMPER!!! is my fave. We go camping in Yosemite every year (twice a year when we can manage it) and the trip is never complete until we see a bear. This stamp set is so-o-o-o great for masculine cards in addition to all the scrapbooking applications for our family. I'm learning to love the Under the Stars set but still not nearly as well as HC. I think the UtS bear looks a bit crazed maybe due to that smarmy grin. IDEA! I need to try stampin' him without the grin and see if I like him better that way.
You are killin' me, Diana! I love, love, LOVE your technique class but just can't quite justify (or find the time for) the nine hour drive (one way) to join in. I am certain it will be a blast!
Hugs,
Lorree
My favourite stamp set is Lovely as a Tree. I love all the Nature related sets.
Unfrogettable is my favorite stamp set. I love tht frog. It is great to use for kids and that frog reminds me I should be doing my exercises.
Maureen Young
For the classic I love Baroque Motifs. But I also love City of David for Christmas.
Favorite of all time, that is such a hard question.
Hmmmmm, I love Lovely as a Tree and Spring Song. And sooooo many more but I tend to reach for those pretty often.
Hmmm..that is a good question. My favourite is Lovely as a Tree, Fifth Avenue, Branch Out, and Crazy for Cupcakes. Wait, who am I kidding..I like all of them, but these are my favourite!!!
My all time favorite set is Lovely as a Tree, and my favorite sentiment set is sincere salutations. Thank you for the chances to win.
I still love Terrific Tulips…such pretty images! Your card is adorable!
I liked Button Bear and really hated to see it go!!
My comments ended up in the wrong spot (computer glitch!) My favorite is Heavenly Days because it was a surprise freebie. My workshop was over $400 and in 2000 there was an extra stamp set for hostesses if your party was over $400. I saw the set in the box and was jealous of whomever had ordred it. My demo told me it was mine and it was free!
Thanks for the chance to win!
