UStamp, I Stamp, We All Stamp…and the Winner Is…

This 'n' That

28 May

…what the heck am I jabbering about?  Maybe you can't understand me with two temporary crowns in the front of my face…I'll tell you more about that later. First to the fun stuff.

At noon today, I will pick a winner of my Mystery Blog Candy, and you wanna know what it is? If I pick your name you will win a free pass to UStamp.

Congratulations goes to: Taylor Prystawsky, and her comment was:

I love Dazzling Diamonds, rhinestone brads and corduroy buttons! Anything sparkly is my favorite!

Taylor, please email me at digibbs@stampingwithdi.com, so I can send you your blinkie and your free pass to UStamp.  Thanks to everyone for playing along with the questions.  I learned a lot myself.

What is UStamp?  Well a few weeks ago my friend Dawn Rapsas called me.  We have been friends for a long time.  We have fun getting together at Convention, Leadership and the Stampin' Up! trips. She's got the cutest kids around and it has been fun watching her oldest daughter growing up as she usually brings her along on the trips. For a while now Dawn and I have been chatting about maybe working on a stamping event together, but we were not sure what…and well we live in different states too, so that makes it a little tricky. So when Dawn called me she said "I would love for you to join me on my UStamp with Dawn & Friends on-line event, and be one of my Creative Crew Designers." Of course I said yes, and then I was like what the heck does that mean? Ha! What it means is I will be designing projects for UStamp with Dawn & Friends, joining in the chats, and having lots of fun connecting with all the members around the world.

It is really important to the both of us, since we are both Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the USA, that our customers are not confused about the whole process. If you are currently my customer please continue to order from me and all Dawn's customers will continue to order from her. Easy peasy!

There are different options with UStamp:

1. Join UStamp and order the products to create the projects on your own
2. Attend the classes I decide to hold using UStamp Projects
3. You can certainly do both, join UStamp and also take the classes. That way everything is cut for you, and you enjoy a day or night class in my studio.

Make sure you holler at me if you have any questions, if I am not sure of the answer, since this is new to me too. I will ask Dawn and get back to you. To join UStamp there is a link under my Crew Girl blinkie…or go here.

So back to the teeth, or is it teethph (lisping). I had my teeth cleaned yesterday, and I think that they must have loosened up stuff, so when I flossed my teeth this morning, fling! off goes a piece of tooth and bond stuff.  I think all the placque was holding it on there…ha!  So I called and they got me in and well gee ma'am, looks like you need to put a crown on that sucker…so here I sit with two temporary crowns on the bottom of my mouth in the front, (they had to do two since they sit so close together and they both had root canals done years ago) and I can tell you right now…I doubt they last the 2 weeks till I get my permanent ones.  I bet I grind them right off in my sleep.  I am hoping I am wrong, but that's just my luck. So keep your fingers crossed.  Hey maybe I will lose weight with this, two weeks of chewing soft stuff…I will probably choke first, not being able to chew my food small enough before I swallow…gulp!

So I made up a quick card tonight, (TV still does not work in studio…so I watched Wipe Out in the house with hubby – did you hear me laughing? If you have not seen it, you should watch it.  Why we get a kick out of watching people basically falling on their faces, I don't know…but it is funny!) I have these fun Loop to Loop Rub-ons sitting on my desk and I thought I wonder if I can color them in with the pencils and sansodor and it worked.  The card is not super fancy, maybe Dawn will change her mind about the whole UStamp thing once she sees it..ha!

DSCN8119 copy Stamp Set: none
Paper: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Ink: none
Misc: watercolor pencils, sansodor, stumps, filigree designer brads, white gel pen

So Eric is graduating tomorrow night. They have practice bright and early in the morning, so Jeff is taking him to that. Then we gotta take pictures of him all dressed up before we leave for the night.  His Grandparents would never forgive us if we didn't.  None of them are able to come. Sucks living in a different state and country then your folks ya know.

Have a super Thursday, cross your fingers I got teeth in the morning, and that it does not rain Thursday night, Graduation is on the football field…

Thanks for stopping in!
A digibbs siggy

Sorry to hear about your teeth! Maybe they'll give you a dental discount since they loosened the filling for you! LOL! The UStamp sounds really interesting….is it going to be projects using just Stampin' Up! products? Congrats to your son on his graduation!

UStamp sounds awesome!!! Finally something I can participate in even though I live in Illinois.

Please post pics of Eric's graduation. I will pray for good weather and your two front teeth (great, now I have the Christmas song in my head–LOL)

Simple or not, I like the card. Sometimes we just don't have to be fancied up.

So glad you are going to be one of the designers at UStamp. You certainly have the talent. It isn't going to rain, you should have hoped for temperatures under 100 he is going to be hot in a suit and gown! The teeth won't fall out its just the dentists joke making you lisp,

Hi, my name is Diana Gibbs and I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator since 1999. I never imagined getting up and talking to people, I am deaf (I wear hearing aids) so talking to strangers has never been a fun thing for me. But put a rubber stamp in my hand and I will talk to anyone.

I hope you can find inspiration and learn new and exciting things while you are here. If there is ever anything you want me to teach you, just let me know!
